Madi Griffin is a supporting protagonist from season five to seven of the CW show, The 100.
She was portrayed by Lola Flanery.

Madi is a Nightblood Grounder who was adopted by Clarke who takes care of her like her own daughter. She knows how to be resourceful as when she is able to hunt fish, set traps or also lead an entire clan.
History[]
Madi briefly appears at the end of season four with Clarke, when the Eligius Prisoners land on Earth aboard the Gagarin.
Then in a flashback of season five, we learn how Madi met Clarke who kept him under her wing. After the Prisoners arrive, Clarke is captured and Madi meets the Spacekru group to help her. Then, she meets Blodreina and Wonkru and is trained to fight against the Prisoners, to Clarke's disagreement. Gaia shows her the Flame that will make her the Commander of Wonkru, fascinating Madi. After which, she becomes Octavia's second but is taken away from the bunker by Clarke who refuses to lose her in battle. Together, she travels to Shallow Valley where they meet McCreary and reunite with Abby. In the next episode, Madi, along with Echo, Emori and Murphy, saves Octavia, Indra, Gaia and Bellamy in the gorge and returns to the desert aboard the rover. Then she steps up to the status of Commander and Octavia bends before her, along with Wonkru and even Clarke. During the Damocles event, Madi agrees to let the Eligius Prisoners flee with the rest of the survivors, despite Clarke's reluctance for what they did.
In season six, Madi trains to control the Flame with Gaia and Diyoza by their side on the planet Alpha found by Monty. It is then that they are attacked by the Children of Gabriel who paralyze them but are saved by Octavia who kills those who remain. Afterwards, Madi follows her friends to Sanctum and the days that follow her condition worsens because of Sheidheda who gradually takes control of her mind. Things don't get better when Bellamy tells her that Clarke is dead and Madi blames Gaia for it. Sheidheda having complete control over Madi proposes through her to kill all the Primes and rule over Sanctum. Later, Raven attempts to suppress the Dark Commander from her mind, and Madi is taken aboard the Eligius IV to fight Wonkru. Still possessed, Madi allies with Russell to rule Wonkru but quickly regains control of herself to stop the Prime and his men. Sheidheda, enraged by her betrayal, begins to strangle Madi, causing her to convulse. Fortunately, Raven and Jackson take the Flame away from him, freeing Madi for good.
In season seven, Madi learns that Sheidheda has downloaded into Russell's mind and that he has taken control of his body. The latter takes control of Sanctum and Madi is a fugitive.
He also tries to kidnap her to bring her to Cadogan but he prefers to kill her. Gabriel intervenes and Madi decides to go on her own to Bardo. There, she is placed by Levitt on the M-Cap but refuses to let Cadogan use her memories and damages her brain, paralyzng her. However, she is conscious and her mind transcends, allowing her to live in peace.
