Maikaze (舞風, "Dancing Wind") was one of 19 Kagerō-class destroyers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the 1930s.
Appearance[]
Maikaze has blonde hair with parted bangs up front and tied in a short ponytail with a scrunchie in the back. She has gray/blue eyes. Maikaze wears a school uniform that includes a gray vest and pleated skirt, like other Kagerou-class shipgirls. She wears white gloves, has a white blouse underneath the vest, and a red ribbon. Her combat gear involves double-barreled cannons on turrets for each hand, another pair strapped to her thighs, and torpedo launchers worn like a backpack. Unusually for a destroyer, she has no mast or smokestack on her back.
Personality[]
She is constantly excited and upbeat, often talks about wanting to dance with the admiral, refers to combat as a 'dance' as well, and says she dislikes gloomy things.
