Maine is the overarching protagonist of Netflix's 2022 cyberpunk anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the prequel series to the 2020 video game Cyberpunk 2077.
He is a Militech veteran who serves as the leader of his mercenary crew, taking jobs from the criminal underworld of Night City. He was also the mentor of David Martinez, who joined the crew to become an edgerunner following his mother Gloria's demise. He is also the boyfriend of Dorio Gunnarsdóttir.
In English, he is voiced by William C. Stephens. In Japanese, he is voiced by Hiroki Tochi.

Maine is noted to be a hard and stern leader to his crew, but despite his tough demeanor towards them, he is also fair to them as well, as he makes sure everyone gets a fair cut for their role in the job they take, covers everyone's skin, and doesn't hesitate on working with them. The same applies to David, whom Maine took as a student to teach him the life of mercenary and life in Night City.
