Shino Sosaki, better known as Mandalay, is a major supporting character in the anime/manga series, My Hero Academia. She is the leader of the Wild, Wild Pussycats and a Pro Hero.
She was voiced by Meiko Kawasaki in Japanese and Jill Harris in English.
Appearance[]
Shino is a young woman with dark red short hair styled into three bangs across the face and brown eyes.
Her hero costume is a red version of the usual Pussycat's hero costumes; her collar is white, the top is a mix of red, yellow and white, her skirt is mostly red with a bit of light pink on the end, she has an orange belt with a cat print on the front of it, and red and grey long boots. She also wears white and pink kitty groves, a red band on the left arm and dark red tails. Finally, she also has red marks beneath her eyes that resemble cat whiskers, which she drew on herself.
As a civilian, she wore a dark blue turtleneck sweater with a loose collar, a black knee-length shirt with brown and yellow belts, dark long leggings, and black high-heeled shoes.
Personality[]
She is often a very gentle and calm woman, in contrast to her partner Pixie Bob, who is usually loud and energetic. However, she can still be just as eccentic and demanding as the rest of her teammates. She is also occasionally willing to poke fun at someone else's expense, whether it's Class 1-A or her nephew Kota. However, she is still genuinely caring and will show great concern for them should they find themselves in any real danger.
