Marcie is a major character of the Peanuts franchise.
She is known for her modest tenderness and intelligence. Her bookishness is in contrast to her closest friend, the tomboy Peppermint Patty, whom she refers to as "sir" on a regular basis.
This is just one of her many mispronunciations. Marcie is perceptive and reserved, but always willing to lend a hand and the voice of reason.
In the 2015 film The Peanuts Movie, she is voiced by Rebecca Bloom.
Appearance[]
Marcie has short hair in a bob (sometimes colored as dark brown and sometimes as black in animated cartoons). She wears a T-shirt and pants in all her appearances. She has never been depicted wearing a dress, unlike most of the other girls.
She also wears glasses which hide her eyes that have only been shown in very rare instances. In most of the animated cartoons, her shirt is colored orange and her pants are shorts. In The Peanuts Movie, she wears a red-orange T-shirt with black pants and white sneakers.

- In the comic strip, Marcie was never given a last name. Her last name in the television special You're in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown is Johnson. In The Peanuts Movie, Carlin is portrayed.
