Marcos is a minor character in the Netflix TV Show The Dragon Prince. He is a member of Katolis' elite Crownguard, who was almost killed by Rayla during her group's mission to assassinate Ezran and Harrow, but she decided to spare him. Marcos would also help in the Battle of the Storm Spire against Viren and his army.
He is voiced by Jesse Inocalla, who also voiced Soren in the same series.
Biography[]
Marcos was patroling the forests of Katolis, when he encountered a group of Moonshadow Assassins, which made an horrified Marcos run away, with Rayla going after Marcos to kill him. However, after seeing the fear that Marcos had in his eyes, Rayla decided to spare him and faked his death by cutting berries that had the color similar to blood.
Despite this, they would find out about Rayla's lies, as the next day, Marcos would appear with several guards to find the assassins, but they were uncussesful, although this was enough for Runaan to decide that she wasn't ready for the mission.
Marcos would later appear when Viren decided to wage war on Xadia, where Viren was forced to say that since Ezran's last order before abdicating from his role as king of Katolis was that the soldiers who did not wish to fight could leave to their homes and families.
Marcos was the first to decide not to join Viren's plan, and after many other soldiers gave up, Viren gave them badges that would be put on their armours to show that they were cowards for refusing to join him. However, this was one of Viren's biggest reasons for his downfall, as the soldiers who refused, including Marcos, helped in the battle of the Storm Spire, which granted their victory against Viren's army.
After the battle was over, Marcos was injured, but he was helped by a Sunfire Elf named Sabah, and would later bow to Ezran at the Storm Spire. Two years later, Marcos was spending time with Gren when they heard the screams of a human named Lucia, who had been burned by a Sunfire Elf named Yonnis. A few weeks later, Marcos went to Janai and Amaya's wedding.

- Marcos' design is based on a scrapped design of Gren in an earlier concept phase.
- Marcos' name was actually made by a fan of the show at the SDCC of 2018.
