Marcus Higgins is one of the main protagonists of the Grown Ups film series.
He is portrayed by David Spade, who also played Emperor Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove movies, Joe Dirt, Richie Goodman in Benchwarmers, Griffin in the first 3 Hotel Transylvania films.

In 1978, Marcus Higgins and his friends were playing in a basketball championship in junior high school. They won the game against Dickie Bailey and he and his friends celebrated with their Coach Robert "Buzzer" Ferdinando. Thirty years later, Marcus Higgins lives with his ex girlfriend. After He and his friends found out that Coach Buzzer died. They reunite at their hometown in New England. He and his friends and their families attend a private funeral. Lenny decides to rent a lake house to pay tribute for coach Buzzer's death.
Elnny's wife Roxanne thinks that they all should stay before going to a water park and went on water slides together as their spouses sat and relaxed. Marcus walked around the water park with Rob's 2 daughters and flirted with them while they sneak their way to a water slide. At the zip line attraction, Marcus and Eric watch Wily zag line by his feet before crashing into a shed.
The next day, After the basketball game, Marcus prepares an arrow for another game of arrow roulette but with a big crowd of people. He shoots it into the air with caused the people to run in fear before wily gets impaled in the foot by the arrow.

Three years after the first movie, Marcus gets relocated in Connecticut where he and his other friends also live. Marcus now lives alone with his son Braden. After dropping off his son at school, He, Lenny, Eric, and Kurt decided to spend time together during summer.
When their kids got out of school for summer break, Marcus and friends decided to visit the old quarry where they swam when they were kids. They encounter Andy and his gang of teens and forced Marcus and his friend to jump down to the lake naked. Braden, who was partying with the frat men witnesses the incident and goes to vandalize the frat men house out of revenge. When the Andy and his frat men returned to their house they find it trashed and covered in spray paint and swore vengeance.
Marcus and his son Braden attended an 80s themed party with his friends at Lenny's house. Andy his gang trespassed into Lenny's yard moments before Lenny and his friends battle against Andy and his gang of teens. After the battle, Marcus and his friends Lenny, Dickie, Kurt, and Eric eat pancakes at Eric's mom's house while looking at old photos of when they were kids.
