~ Magre's last words to Sean after saving him |
Marge is a minor character in Jaws 2, and a close friend to Michael Brody. She has a passion for sailing. When Michael goes sailing with his friends even though his father Martin Brody prohibited it, and brings his younger brother Sean with him just so his parents won't know, they have a dispute, which gets Marge's attention, and she playfully offers to let Sean come with her, which he accepts.
However, they eventually find out why Mike's father doesn't want them to go sailing anymore: another monstrous great white shark is terrorizing Amity Island, and they are attacked by the predator. Amidst the panic and chaos, Mike is able to get to safety with the help of two of his friends, while Marge stays with Sean, protecting him, and the others. After the shark destroys a helicopter that came to bring them back to shore, the creature knocks Sean into the water. Marge manages to get him out of the water, but she is not as fortunate, and the shark swallows her whole before Sean's eyes.
She is played by Martha Swatek.
