Maria Rodriguez

Maria is one of the main chracters Sesame Street. She is potrayed by Sonia Manzano who voiced Rosa Casagrande in The Loud house and it's spin-off The Casagrandes.

Personality

Maria is one of the main humans who live on Sesame Street. She speaks Spnaish just like Rosita and she first appered all the way back in 1971. Maria works at the Fix It Shop until in 2002 it became the Mail It Shop with Luis unitl 2006 it was the Fix It Shop. Maria and Luis had fallen in love each other and they gotted married in Season 19 and then. During Sesame Street's 20th Season, Maria had a baby in her stomch and she went straight in the hospital. When the baby came out, Maria and Luis named her Gabi and Gabi became on of the main kid chracters when she was a big girl. Maria had appeared in some Sesame Street specials like Don't Eat The Pictures, What's The Name Of That Song?, Elmo Vists The Firehouse, Elmopalooza and more. She was the main chracters in two Sesame Street movies Follow That Bird and The Adventures Of Elmo In Grouchland.

Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird

Maria appears bidding goodbye to Big Bird to leave for Ocean View Illinois by Miss Finch who thinks one of his kinds to live with the Dodos. After Big Bird leaves the Dodos to return back to Sesame Street, Maria was assign with Oscar, Telly and Honker on Sloppy Jalopy by Bob to find Big Bird, while Gordon, Olivia, Linda and Cookie Monster are assign on the Volkswagen and Count Von Count in his own Countmobile. Bob then instruct them to get to Toadstool, where they will meet up with Big Bird and watch out for Miss Finch (who was insisting to bring Big Bird back to the Dodos).

Later that night Maria, Oscar, Telly and Honker stops at a restaurant where they (except Telly and Honker who stayed in the car) have a food fight with the other patrons.

The next day They arrive in Toadstool, where they and the others finally find Big Bird who escaped from Miss Finch from Ruthie's farm, where he stayed there for the night. But They however lost them, unaware he is been captured by The Sleaze Brothers who run a funfair in the ourskirts of Toadstool. Later while fueling their cars, Maria contacts Bob who inform them that he already located Big Bird in the Sleaze brothers' Fun Fair.

The next day, they sneak into the carnival and find him in the cage and ready to free him. However thanks to Grover, The Sleaze Brothers quietly wake up and just as Linda was about to unlock the cage, they drive off with Big Bird still in the cage in an attempt to prevent them from bringing Big Bird back to Sesame Street. Maria orders Telly to wake Oscar up, while she calls the police and Gordon and Olivia chase after the Sleaze Brothers in the Volkswagen and they successfully rescue him.

When they finally return back to the Sesame Street, with the Sleaze Brothers arrested for their crimes, Big Bird was happy to be back home. Bob asks Maria where Gordon and the others are, which they are on their way. Big Bird then informs everyone about his trips. However Miss Finch arrives having followed him all the way to Sesame Street, she declares that she found another bird family, which Maria and the others objects this. Miss Finch then realizes how far his friends bring him back and declares Sesame Street as Big Bird's home, which they happily accepts and she leaves. Gordon, Olivia, Linda, Cookie Monster and Grover arrive pushing the consume Volkswagen which she, Bob, Susan and Luis are shocked at the car's condition.
