Marianne is a strong-willed woman, as she takes her role as the voice of reason, and tries to keep Nigel out of trouble. She regularly takes on disciplinary duties, attempting to keep her children safe. In general, Marianne is a kind hearted woman who is willing to do what is right and cares greatly for her family.
