Marin is a hero in Galtar and the Golden Lance, being seen in Zorn Meets Marin.
Biography[]
When she was very young, Marin was in an accident. She fell into the river and was soon brought to the Lost Valley, which she now calls home. She was raised with the cat beast, Tupa.
Zorn Meets Marin[]
Zorn is sparring with Goleeta (who is pretending to be a Gurza) and knocks her into a river. Galtar goes next and knocks Zorn in, but when Zorn does not resurface, Goleeta and Galtar begin to grow worried. Galtar jumps in, but the water is too murky for him to see anything. Goleeta goes next, but has no better luck.
Zorn eventually resurfaces, but is unable to fight the current. After going down a series of waterfalls, he eventually swims to shore. A monster nearly gets him, but he is rescued just in time by Marin. After he watches her use her bolo whip, he shows her the use of his Skyscreamer. Marin goes on a higher pedestal and uses her bolo whip to send some fruits falling. Impressed, Zorn congratulates her and tells her his name, whereupon she tells him hers. Suddenly, however, the pedestal starts rolling toward them, with them just barely managing to dodge it.
Torg the Tree Giant suddenly appears, prompting Zorn and Marin to run. Along the way, Marin saves Zorn from a jungle beast named Pythor, but then, she is found again and captured by Torg. Upon seeing only her bolo whip, Zorn surmises that Torg took Marin.
Zorn follows the trail, but Torg soon pushes a tree on him. Zorn almost goes falling off the cliff, but he manages to save himself with a rope. He challenges Torg to a fight, and Torg accepts, putting Marin down. He throws rocks at Zorn, but Zorn dodges them all, causing an enraged Torg to run after him. He eventually lassos Torg's arm, but Torg, being stronger, simply pulls Zorn toward him. Fortunately, Marin manages to kick a boulder at Torg, knocking him out.
Zorn and Marin flee while Torg is dazed. As they drink from the water, Marin tells Zorn of her past. Suddenly, Zorn is attacked by Tupa, but Marin calms her down by explaining that Zorn is her friend. When he tells her of his mission to free Bandisar, Marin tells him of a passage through the mountains that can lead to Bandisar.
Zorn and Marin ride Tupa through the Lost Valley and are spotted by Galtar and Goleeta. However, they are accosted by the Buried Ones. Galtar uses the Golden Lance to shoot at the monsters, allowing Zorn, Marin, and Tupa to reach him and Goleeta. However, the Buried Ones keep coming, so Galtar keeps blasting at them with the Golden Lance, with Goleeta joining with her armband.
The group runs off, with Marin telling Galtar and Goleeta her story. Galtar and Goleeta offer to let her join them, but Marin is unsure, seeing the Lost Valley as her home. But as they go up a mountain, a volcano erupts, and in the chaos, Marin and Tupa go falling off a cliff. Feeling guilty, Zorn vows to return one day and find out if Marin is still alive.

Marin dresses in clothes fit for a native, and has white hair.
Personality[]
Marin is shown to be brave and resourseful, having learned to fend for herself while living in the Lost Valley.
