Mario is the main protagonist of the CDI video game, Hotel Mario. In the game, Bowser and the Koopalings have taken over the Mushroom Kingdom and Princess Toadstool is now a guest at one of Bowser's seven Koopa hotels when she is actually trapped there. Bowser dares Mario to find her if he can.
So, Mario and Luigi have to find the princess and save her in one of Bowser's hotels. The game came out in 1994, and despite the game itself getting negative and mocked reception, it became so popular that there were many Youtube Poops containing clips from the game. The clips from the games Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon are used in the same way.
He is voiced by Mark Graue, who also voices his brother Luigi and Bowser in the game.
History[]
Hotel Mario[]
In Hotel Mario, Mario and Luigi went to walk and were going to have a picnic. Once Mario points out to Luigi that there's a letter from Bowser out in the open that says they have to save the princess from one of the seven Koopa Hotels as a challenge, Luigi points out the gamer has got to help them, and Mario brings up the gamer can check the manual if they need instructions. Every time, they spot the princess, Mario remains determined in saving the princess wherever she is presumed to be like in a tree, in buildings, in the clouds, and eventually in one of Bowser's hotels. Mario and Luigi stumble into many locations, usually failing to find Peach and keep searching for her, regardless of this Mario will have the volition to find ways to save the princess even when Bowser tricks him many times, and when he and Luigi finally rescue the princess; Mario and Luigi are rewarded with kisses from Princess Toadstool herself, and the three tell the player "You're the best player ever!".
Personality[]
Throughout the game, he is characterized with a carefree attitude to his cheesy and silly one-liners he likes providing, as well as having the tendency to break the fourth wall in a very goofy (and sometimes, ridiculous) way at points.
On top of being heroic, relaxed, decisive and very self-aware in the sense of breaking the fourth wall in a laughable manner; he has also shown to be a type of imbecile who thought "all toasters toast toast" was a clever saying at all, or once told the viewer to remind him to check for a switch in one of the hotel rooms (something Mario himself should already be doing). He can also seem somewhat facetious and pragmatic due to the fact he hammered through a living piggy bank to find money and yelled at a Koopa to get off of "his cloud" that was being blown by a fan.
Despite being an extremely jocular person and an opportunistic goofball, he still has the heroic incentive and valor to find any opportunity that'll help him, and Luigi save Peach from Bowser when the latter had her in one of his seven hotels.
