Marisol Deering (previously Suarez) is the central character and one of the titular protagonists of the Lifetime mystery dramedy, Devious Maids.
Marisol's plan was to blend in as a housemaid as she is undercover so that she can investigate the murder of Flora Hernandez and free her son who was wrapped up in the murder.
Using her wit, deception and determination to make ends meet, Marisol uncovers all the bloody secrets that the rich and powerful hide behind closed doors.
Marisol has succeeded in freeing her son and went back to her profession as a college professor and as a result, she falls in love with the businessman, Nicholas Deering and the two become engaged and Marisol gets a maid of her own. However, her romance isn't picture perfect as she hoped as her maid plots to get her out and realizes that Nicholas has a closet full of skeletons. As a result, Marisol embarks on a quest to uncover all the dark secrets that her fiancé (and later husband) hides behind closed doors.
Personality[]
Marisol can be considered as one of the most devious of the maids. Reason being is that she can be deceptive, sneaky, underhand, sly, snooping and even devious in order to achieve her ends. However, throughout the story, she softens noticeably, and becomes much nobler.
She never loses her cool and is also a friendly woman who is best known for using her detective-like wit and determination in order achieve her ends.
Marisol is also smart and moral, which is shown when she feels as if she is using her fellow maids when she went undercover.
