Mark Davis is a character appearing in Freddy vs. Jason. He was the fourteenth falling victim to die.

He was portrayed by Brendan Fletcher.

Story

Mark Davis was a young man from Springwood, Ohio, who was born sometime around the year 1985. He is a patient at Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital. He's there for nightmares about Freddy Krueger. The Institute isolates his knowledge from the other Springwood teenagers. His older brother Bobby was also tormented by Krueger and then committed suicide.

While he was thinking about his brother, he hears the sound of running water from the bathroom. He got up from the table and looks under the door and sees a couple there. When he opens the door, however, there is nothing there. He mumbled that he had to stay awake and that's why he wanted to take Hypnocil. But when he looks in the mirror, he sees Freddy and the pill falls into his sink. When he turned around, the tub was full of blood and his brother was in it.

However, he started speaking in Freddy's voice. She wants him to send one message, but Mark doesn't want to do it. Therefore, Freddy decides to send him himself. He throws Mark against the opposite wall and then his back starts to burn. Finally Freddy slashes him across the face with his claws and Mark falls to the ground.

• The character of Mark Davis was created by director Ronny Yu and screenwriters Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.

• Mark Davis is one of three four characters in Freddy vs. Jason who is killed by Freddy Krueger. He is the only character killed by Freddy in the present timeline. The other Freddy victims, the little girl, Mrs. Campbell and Mark's brother, Bobby Davis, all died in flashback. Mark Davis is the only Krueger victim who was a teenager at the time of his death.

• It is possible that Mark Davis may have been a student at Springwood High School given his age and relationship with other characters. Even though he does make an appearance at the school, there is nothing provided suggesting that he actually attended classes there.
