Marlene Wallace is a major non-playable character in Final Fantasy VII. She is the adopted daughter of Barret Wallace.
Marlene is a bright and intelligent child who is more mature than most children her age.
She was voiced by Miyu Tsuzurahara in Advent Children, Sumire Morohoshi in advent Children Complete and Otoha Umezaki in Final Fantasy VII remake in the Japanese version, and by Grace Rolek in Advent Children, Ariel Winter in Advent Children Complete and Brielle Milla in Final Fantasy VII remake in the English version.
In Final Fantasy VII, Marlene has shoulder-length brown hair cut in a bob with a straight fringe, and wears a pink dress with a yellow bow on the front, and brown boots with white socks. In Advent Children, Marlene wears her hair in a plait at the back of her head, tied with a pink ribbon, though she has kept the fringe, and her outfit consists of a white turtleneck and knee-length skirt of the same color, patterned with stripes.
Marlene is quiet and shy the first time the player meets her, but she takes a liking to Aeris, calling her "Flower Lady". Oddly, despite her age, she seems to be trusted behind a bar. As an older girl in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, she has become caring and thoughtful, showing incredible maturity for her tender years. She dearly loves her father and wishes he were around more, a feeling he reciprocates.
