Marnie (Japanese: マリィ Mary) is one of the player's rivals and one of the two tritagonists in Pokémon Sword and Shield. She has her own fan club, Team Yell, who try to obstruct her potential rivals.
She is voiced by Yui Ishikawa in the Japanese version, and by Dawn M. Bennett in the English version. In Pokémon Masters, she is voiced by Yukari Tamura in the Japanese version, and by Crisitina Vee in the English version, the latter of whom also voiced Bugsy and Phoebe in the same game, and who also voiced Marinette Dupain-Cheng in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. In the English dub of Pokémon Journeys: the series, she is voiced by Hayden Daviau.
Appearance[]
Marnie is white-skinned. She has black hair with two small dark-purple bangs on each side of her head which is rather small. Marnie sports a pink mini-dress underneath her black long-sleeved sweater with a unique design with white insignias and other miscellaneous detail scattered across. Her eyes are green. She wears black and pink sole-bared boots. Marnie holds a Poké Ball in her left hand. Her nails are painted black and she typically bars a relatively serious look on her face with eyes that are narrow and eyebrows are black and tiny.
Personality[]
Marnie is a calm and collected Pokémon Trainer who wants to become Champion of Galar in order to accomplish a hidden objective.
