Marvin Mange is the main protagonist of the 2001 comedy The Animal. He was played by Rob Schneider.
Marvin is a lowly police clerk who dreams of becoming a real cop, but can't since he can't pass the obstacle course physical. But his luck changes when he's critically injured in a Car Accident and deranged scientist Dr. Wilder, secretly uses animal organs to rebuild him. Energized by his new parts, Marvin leaves his weakness behind and achieves instant fame as a supercop. Now a hero, life is going great for Marvin until his animal instincts start taking over his body at all the wrong times. Marvin struggles to remain civilized and be a perfect gentleman with his new love, Rianna Hummingbird in a series of hilarious situations that would drive any animal crazy.
Marvin begins having blackouts and news starts spreading about an animal attacking in the town. Worried it's him, Marvin asks Rianna to watch over him for the night and tie him up. Marvin awakens the next morning to discover they had sex at some point; though worried, Rianna assures hom that it was pleasurable for both of them.
It later turns out Rianna was a test subject before him and is the animal in question. She had just been channeling all the instincts into controlled bursts; allowing her to stay more rational and in control by satisfying her inner animal. They two soon get married and have a child, whom hilariously has a hairy bottom like Marvin.

- A hilarious side-effect of the animal organs is that Marvin develops hairy buttocks; due to all the extra hormones.
