Mary, aka Eri Etou, is one of the main heroes of .hack/Quantum.
Biography[]
Eri Etou is a schoolmate of both Asumi and Iori. Asumi is the one who got Eri into playing "The World". Her player character, Mary, is based on BlackRose. She adventures with Sakuya and Tobias. Her personality runs in contrast to the wild look of the Edge Punisher class. She would many times be misled into doing their task. In reality, she is much more serious than her in-game counterpart.
Appearance[]
As Mary, Eri is a young woman with a slender build. She also has dark skin complexion and long lavender hair.
History[]
Eri, Asumi, and Iori have apparently been playing The World together for a very long time, and appear to be medium-level players. Skilled in combat, Eri is very quick thinking despite initially assuming the game to be for weirdoes, and even in earlier levels, she was shown to be a skilled player, memorizing enemy weaknesses and strategizing to make up for Asumi's clumsy blunders.
