Mashiro Nijigaoka is the deuteragonist of the 2023 magical girl anime and manga series Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure. She is the group leader along with Sora.
Her cure identity is Cure Prism, the Pretty Cure of the light.
She was voiced by Ai Kakuma, who also voiced Rabirin in Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure, Frey in King's Raid, Yuri Sakazaki in The King of Fighters, and Rosaria in Genshin Impact in Japanese.
Personality[]
Mashiro is kind and thoughtful and cares for others and how everyone else is drawn to her and further motivated by how she tries to support them. It's even emphasised as being another form of strength against Kabaton when he tries to disparage her for not being as showy or physically capable as Cure Sky or Cure Wing. However, she struggles with self-esteem throughout the series, downplaying herself frequently. Episode 17 has her deal with the fact that she feels so inadequate towards Sora. During the baton pass, she trips while other racers pass by her. Even though she and Sora won, she still feels guilty that Sora has to pick up the slack for her. In Episode 20, she was willing to miss a contest deadline and throw her hard work away to fight the monster, and had to be convinced to sit out and get her contest entry submitted.
Abilities[]
Mashiro is capable of summoning light spheres to stun Ranborgs, or use them as launch pads in the sky. Prism also has the ability to attack and purify Ranborgs with Prism Shot. She has some knowledge about cooking and nature.
