Matthew Shepard, portrayed by Chuck Hittinger in Sharknado but Cody Linley took over the role as of Sharknado: The 4th Awakens and Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. Chuck reprised the role in a cameo in The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time. Matt is a character in the Sharknado film series.

Matt is the son of Fin and April. By the third movie Matt has joined the army and did a year of tour of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan when he was in the army he met his future wife Gabrielle after they both left the army they both got married in Las Vegas
