Maximillion Pegasus is an antagonist-turned ally of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Serving as the main antagonist of the Duels Kingdom arc and a supporting character in the later parts of the anime.
He's the creator of Duels Monsters and the president of Industrial Illusions. Previously, he wanted to take the KaibaCorp's Solid Vision to see his lover again but ultimately abandoned it after being defeated by Yugi. Later, he redeemed himself by becoming an ally to the heroes, helping them during the Waking the Dragons arc. However in the manga, he died after his eye being taken by Yami Bakura.

Maximillion Pegasus is a tall and slim man in his 20s with a long silver hair. He's usually seen wearing a red tuxedo.
Personality[]
Pegasus is a well-mannered and honorable man who has a great obsession with cartoons which represents his Toons deck. Pegasus has a tendency to tease others like calling Yugi and Kaiba "Yugi-boy" and "Kaiba-boy" respectively.
During his first appearance and the arc centralized around his role as the villain, Pegasus was a cruel man underneath his joyful nature, using the power of his Millennium Eye to suck out the souls of other people either to get what he want or his opponents lose like sucking out Solomon's soul so Yugi has to fight him or
After his defeat, he started to become much more calm and heroic than before, helping the heroes like warning about the danger of the Orichalcos, or giving Jaden the card to defeat Ra's thief. His cruel nature seemed to have completely mellowed down during the GX series.
