Maylyn is a character introduced in the 2016 reboot series The Powerpuff Girls, She is the leader of the Derbytantes and a student of the Midway School, is hired by Princess to distract Bellota so that she can join the Powerpuff Girls in the episode "Buttercup Princess" where she debuted for the first time in the series.

Maylyn is a bit like Buttercup, Because both like to be aggressive, they are a little manly and what connects them the most is playing Devasta-ball. Although Maylyn and the Derbytantes were hired by Princess to pretend to be her friends and hang out with her, Buttercup earned Maylyn's respect for all of the Derbytantes as well.
Maylyn also proves to be a very good leader for all her Derbytants, such as when she used Princess money to get Acornante's costume, as well as protecting each member of this group considering them as sisters.
