Mayor Larry Box is a recurring hero from the FOX animated sitcom, The Cleveland Show. He is best known as the casually profane mayor of Stoolbend.
Heroic Acts[]
- In "The Blue, The Gray, and The Brown", Mayor Larry Box allowed the drive in movie theater to stay, instead of letting it get torn down, after seeing how much people would miss it. He later planned on tearing down a statue of a racist figure, before Cleveland chained himself to it, as a form of political protest. Mayor Larry Box was no murderer, so he stopped the bulldozer. After Cleveland and The Guys hypocritically destroyed the statue, Mayor Larry Box punished them for vandalism, and made them reassemble it and put it back up.
- In "The Hurricane!", Mayor Larry Box made a public TV warning to everyone in Stoolbend, telling them to evacuate the town, during the strike of Hurricane Flozelle. In the case of people not evacuating in time, Box told the people to stay inside of their homes for shelter, since it's the only safe thing left to do.
- In "Jesus Walks", he hosted a veteran appreciation parade.
- In "Turkey Pot Die", he pardoned a turkey for Thanksgiving.
- In "Here Comes the Bribe", he took the time out of his busy, mayoral life, to dedicate his time and feelings, to attending Cleveland Junior's funeral for his mini-fridge, Perry.
