Mayu Nekoyashiki is one of the four main protagonists of the 2024 magical girl anime series Wonderful Pretty Cure!. Her Cure Identity is Cure Lillian.
She was voiced by Reina Ueda (who also voiced Cha Hae-In in Solo Leveling, Akane Shinjou in SSSS.GRIDMAN and Ganyu in Genshin Impact) in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Mayu has dark brown hair tied in a left side ponytail held by a teal scrunchie and burgundy eyes. She wears a pale yellow blouse that has two green buttons and is scalloped at the bottom, as well as a long three-tiered skirt with white, pale green, and light green sections. She also wears a short teal jacket with sleeves that end at her elbows. Her shoes are brown and pink secured with straps around the heel and light brown soles along with pink socks with thick cuffs.
As a child, Mayu had lower twin tails tied by bands of teal hair. Her usual attire was a long-sleeved white blouse and a long teal skirt with pale green ruffles. For winter, she wore a pale green shawl with a pink ribbon, a pink wool hat with a floral print, cyan gloves with white ruffles, pink tights, and muted pink boots.
Personality[]
Mayu is a socially awkward girl who wants to make a lot of friends, but avoids any social interaction. She is good at makeup and sewing. Although at first she is shy, Mayu becomes braver due to her desire to help her friends. Mayu tends to concentrate too much whenever she knits, to the point that she doesn't even listen when someone talks to her.
