Meat Boy, also known Meat Ninja, is the titular main protagonist of the Super Meat Boy franchise.
He is a skinless human made of meat with a resemblance of a cube whose goal is to rescue his girlfriend Bandage Girl, who was constantly being kidnapped by a madman named Dr. Fetus. leading to the events of Super Meat Boy Forever, He and Bandage Girl have a goal to save their daughter Nugget from Dr. Fetus. He is also the close friend of Brownie.
Since the release of his first/second game, He became one of the iconic and popular indie and Newgrounds characters and has changed the history of Indie Gaming, alongside the characters such as Cuphead, Madeline, The Hat Kid, Peppino Spaghetti, Frisk The Knight, Shovel Knight, Shantae, Steve, The Castle Crashers, Alien Hominid, Pico Guy Spelunky and other various video game characters.
Personality[]
Meat Boy is generally a square of meat with a good sense of humor. Though His speed is too difficult to adjust while facing some obstacles. Meat Boy often fails to rescue her because of the distractions in the scenes, such as Brownie being introduced as his main rival, or C.H.A.D being his round counterpart to be rivaled with.
According to the scenes in Forever, He in fact seems to be none other than human, with him holding an universal obstacle as he seems to nearly handle it, though he doesn't show any of his strength but minor fighting scenes. his jumping skills is too difficult to adjust when being close to the grinders.
Appearance[]
Meat Boy is described as a "skinless boy", but his mere lack of skin, cube shape, superhuman agility and ability to climb walls, regenerative factor, and the fact that he never dies of blood loss seems to suggest that he's definitely anything but a normal human. In Forever, his elderly self, despite not having skin, grows a beard. He's also revealed to have superhuman strength, being able to punch pretty hard at enemies and somewhat lift up giant rocks. He even has the ability to jump even higher than Mario, compared to the differences of their height.

Background[]
Meat Boy is a skinless boy who looks like a hunk of meat. He appears before Bandage Girl does. He loves Bandage more than just a friend. Dr. Fetus hates him, just like how everyone hates him the most. He beats up Meat Boy as a distraction to capture her, luring him in to kill him so that he won't live to be with Bandage Girl again.
He's on a mission to save Bandage Girl, his girlfriend, from Dr. Fetus, despite the many dangers (and deaths) he'll have to face along the way.
Super Meat Boy[]
Meat Boy and Bandage Girl are seen hugging each other while Dr. Fetus punches her in the face and kidnaps her. Meat Boy acts shocked from Dr. Fetus' abuse. As Meat Boy enters the Lil' Slugger, He sees Bandage Girl tucked up in Lil' Slugger. Meat Boy gets chased after while the squirrels sacrifice themselves to save him. While Dr. Fetus had his defeat, Meat Boy waved at him, but was ignored and took Bandage Girl with him. He feels deeply depressed when Dr. Fetus wouldn't let her go, but proceeds to go after him anyway. He then enters the abandoned hospital where betus and monsters were created. He then enters the factory, but was encountered by Dr. Fetus' creation C.H.A.D. He thinks of a way to beat C.H.A.D by using the buttons to let the sun shine on him. He then encounters a small smooching C.H.A.D. He kicks a tragic acting C.H.A.D and finds out what Dr. Fetus is planning, but was interrupted by an Annoying C.H.A.D. He tries suffocating him with a towel.
In the next chapter, Meat Boy enters the salt factory, which is Meat Boy's fear. He goes into the base where Dr. Fetus' Creation becomes a feces known as Brownie, and tries to save Bandage Girl in a hurry, but was distracted by his roar. Brownie was only an distraction for Meat Boy, as they ran for their lives from the rising salt. Meat Boy witnesses Brownie painfully trying to make his way up, and Meat Boy grabbed his hand, but couldn't hold it much longer because of Dr. Fetus throwing bricks at Brownie. Meat Boy witnesses Brownie's fall as he gets upset and tries to have his revenge, but was hit with Dr. Fetus' useless button.
Meat Boy challenges Dr. Fetus to the death if he wants his girlfriend back, and as they tend to fight, they start speeding up to each other, and ascended from the ground. Meat Boy lost to Dr. Fetus, as he drops Meat Boy in to the volcano called "Hell". He encounters Dr. Fetus, gets hit with a brick and gets reminded by Dr. Fetus that the Golem merged with Meat Boys is going to destroy him, the Golem starts trying to crush and headbutt Meat Boy, but instead it kill itself. Meat Boy sees the ship going away, but reaches it on his higher jump. He tackles the Dr. Fetus and starts fighting him off, but He looked at Bandage Girl and realizes that Dr. Fetus used her as a fake. Meat Boy gets manipulated and was struck by Dr. Fetus' nuke.
After the nuke ended half the world, Meat Boy was able to survive along with Bandage Girl, Dr. Fetus and Brownie and shape-shifts back to his normal self, and was hit by Dr. Fetus, now Meat Boy goes on his journey to also save his girlfriend and have his revenge on Dr. Fetus. He reaches his arena and was captured as food for the Larries, he managed to trick them into eating him alive, moving on to the final chapter where he and his archenemy face each other on the ship. Trying to finally rescue his love interest, he was encountered by Dr. Fetus, having to be shot at by his missile as he resurrects. The final battle begins on an endless chase and rivalry, giving Meat Boy no break. He reaches the end of the chase, and defeated his archenemy. Dr. Fetus suddenly survives his demise. Meat Boy rescues Bandage Girl finally and escapes the ship malfunctions, suddenly he saved Bandage Girl from and almost crushed by the falling giant rock, Brownie eventually arrived and saved Meat Boy, he tries to get Brownie to escape with the both of them, sacrificing himself only to save them, the two were escaping as they were told, witnessing the ship having to explode. Bandage Girl hugs him and Meat Boy hugs her back, until the surviving fetus lands on Bandage Girl and screams as he hits her with his small strength, Bandage Girl puts fetus on the ground and was not amused by his baby looks. Meat Boy then witnesses her "evilly" stomping the fetus for revenge, he then waves at the player for playing the game, or maybe a fourth walk break. In the bonus chapter, he has a turn in being captured by Dr. Fetus, leaving the rescuing to Bandage Girl.
Super Meat Boy Forever[]
Meat Boy and Bandage Girl have a daughter named Nugget. They take very good care oher and always love her no matter what. The three went on a picnic, until Dr. Fetus has hit Bandage Girl and Meat Boy and captured their beautiful daughter. Meat Boy and Bandage Girl went on a mission to find and rescue her from their long-time nemesis. They encountered their nemesis and witnesses his upgraded version of Lil' Slugger, Big Slugge They nearly have their lives taken away until their daughter presses the self-destructive button on the Big Slugger. Dr. Fetus gets furiously mad at her for foiling his plan while the other latter of the duo goes to save her. Both have entered the clinic with Meat Boy holding the sword, formerly using it to kill Dr. Fetus. He then dropped it blaming himself. They enter the scene and witness their archenemy making creation called Manic, a brain-like creature that can use telekinesis to defend itself with glass. Manic was defeated, and was too tired to defeat them and completely ignored. Meat Boy and Bandage Girl enter the decapitated world and has encountered Dr fetus' guardian of the lab, known as the guardian. They have dodged its lasers and was defeated, once again Dr. Fetus' plans were still foile Dr fetus' went back to his lab as the duo follows him on his way. Once the duo entered his room, they finally found their daughter and h have landed into a trap and was ambushed by his clones and plays with their sworn enemies to see which is which. After seemingly having to be spotting the doctor a few times, Meat Boy throws a punch at his nemesis, have to get tired from the fight. The duo was hit with dead corpses of Meat Boy's. suddenly, the duo witnesses the forest animals having to be back for revenge, and have died from the big Slugger's malfunctions, Nugget cries from what she has witnessed as Dr. Fetus tries to calm her down. Meat and Bandage Girl went after Dr. Fetus but was stopped by time. The duo reach the end of The Other side and noticed their arch-nemesis making another attempt to capture their daughter as Bandage Girl fell for the trickery until they realized that Dr. Fetus, later known as Omega, had seemingly made a cosmic hologram of his trickery. The duo then face their arch-nemesis to the death and seemingly defeated him, though Omega is only Immortal in the broken universe he had caused, as he attempted to kill his victims with a huge cosmic terrain, Meat Boy and Bandage Girl held it with their immense strength to protect their daughter. Bandage Girl gave Nugget a hint to distract Omega, to give him something no one treats him with, love and forgiveness. Omega turns back into Dr. Fetus, and smiles to Nugget after she gives him a pacifier, however Meat Boy along with Bandage Girl have a chance to defeat him once and for all, sending back to the events that were caused from the past. The two turn back to their normal selves, and noticed that the Squirrel and his fellow animal soldiers arrived at the same time they did from the past, and the squirrel respects them for defeating his archenemy. all of them return home and live happily while Dr. Fetus waves at Nugget.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Superhuman speed: his iconic ability is run very fast compared to the playable characters. He can move very fast in game that he is difficult to adjust and handle. Compared to Naija and his speed, He is less faster than her. He can outrun Brownie, Lil Slugger and other characters in a race. He can beat Brownie in a race only in Forever as a secret boss in The Other Side if 50 pacifiers are collected.
- Superhuman strength: he lifted a universal obstacle along with his wife Bandage Girl to protect and give their daughter Nugget some time so she can distract Omega.
- Superhuman leap: He can jump very high and can reach any obstacle in his way, such as peaks, mountains, ships, forest trees, etc. He alongside Bandage Girl claimed up top to battle Dr. Fetus' latest invention Big Slugger.
- Blood Trail: he can leave blood trails by running on land, Metal, or any object. It helps him figure out the puzzling situations of the levels when he dies. he also dies while blood fills some wherever he goes.
- Wall-junping: He has the special ability to slide on and jump onto walls. He can even jump from walls without turning on a backward or forward direction. He can find some skips from any path on hard levels.
- Fighting skills: Meat Boy is capable of his combatant skills along with Bandage Girl. He once tried to stop his arch-nemesis before he realized that he used his girlfriend as bait and a distraction.
- Immortality: He can come to life by simply coming back to life, no matter w
- Teleportation: As Meat Ninja, he formerly has the ability to teleport when he is in danger or next to an dangerous object.
