Mega-Wrex is one of the nine main protagonists of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Camp Crush cartoon series, along with the rest of the Camp Crush Crew. Mega-Wrex is a sentient monster truck that lives on Monster Truck Island and competes in various challenges with his friends. He also helps protect the island from evil. He is oftentimes more brawns than brains and likes to tackle everything with a "fight now, talk later" mentality. He is voiced by Travis Carey, who also voices Gunkster in the same series.
Appearance[]
Normal form[]
Mega-Wrex's body is meant to be shaped like a tyrannosaurus rex, hence the "Wrex" in his name. His body is a teal-blue color. He has rainbow colored scales that go up from his hood all the way to his "tail" on the back. His front fenders form a "mouth" complete with "teeth" and a pink "tongue". His alternate logo is placed above his rear fenders on both sides. He has a blue windshield, which is meant to symbolize blue eyes. His roll cage is a dark teal color, with a chrome chassis, black tires, and teal rims with purple bead locks.
Neon, Angry and Mega forms[]
His neon, angry, and mega forms barely change his appearance at all, with his neon form having neon lights all over him, his angry form changing his eyes from blue to red, and his mega form increases his size.

Personality[]
Mega-Wrex is often portrayed as the dumbest, yet strongest of the Camp Crush Crew members. Mega-Wrex is more brawns than brains, and always wants to handle things with a smashmouth mentality. He likes to confront his problems head on, regardless if he's thinking things through or not. He can often get angry, and act immature when things don't go his way. He, like Demo Derby, can be a little too reckless sometimes, inviting Crushzilla to act as an obstacle for his obstacle course, only for Crushzilla to attack the trucks. Luckily, he did feel remorse for his actions and only wanted to this to make his friends stronger.
He cares about his friends, and despite his reckless nature, he tries to act like a kind figure to the trucks. He is great when it comes to teamwork, as he and Demo Derby team up in season 2, and they both end up clashing with each other perfectly. He, even though he doesn't think things through, he likes to use his smashmouth mentality for good (for the most part), as he uses it to confront Skelesaurus and help defeat him. He has a big heart, and is often kind, like comforting 5 Alarm in the season 3 finale when she feels distressed.
