Megarangers are the main protagonists of Denji Sentai Megaranger. They were the group of young students, chosen by INET organisation to protect the Earth from the evil forces of the Wicked Electric Kingdom Nezirejia.

History[]
Megaranger[]
Megarangers were the young Japanese students, who were recruited by Doctor Eikichi Kubota by using the Megaranger video game. Kubota created this team to protect the Earth from the invading evil empire Nezirejia. Ironically, one of the leaders of the evil alien kingdom was Kubota's former best friend Doctor Samejima, who turned himself into the evil Doctor Hinelar, after turning to evil. However, despite initially being the unskilled and young superheroes, Megarangers eventually learned with Kubota's help how to use their powers by using their special MegaSuits and fight the evil. Later, the group was joined by Agent Yuusaku Hayakawa, who was Kubota's old friend. However, the Doctor initially reluctantly allowed Hayakawa to operate his MegaSuit and join the team, because of Yuusake's overconfidence and disobedience of hid orders.
The Megarangers fought Nezirejia throughout all of the season, and the young men kept their identities in secret from everyone, until the very finale of the series, where Dr. Hinelar eventually managed to unmask them and learn who the Rangers were. This events placed the team into the big danger because Nezirejia leaders started targeting them and their families. Eventually, the Megaranger s managed to defeat the Nezirejia, before Hinelar eventually committed suicide. After these events, Megarangers abandoned their superhero duties and returned to their ordinary lices after their graduation from Moroboshi High School.
Gingaman vs. Megaranger[]
The Megarangers would later return to team-up with the Gingamen against Hizumina and Space Pirate Captain Gregory.
Gokaiger[]
Years later, the Space Empire Zangyack invaded Earth. This threat was so great that all of the first 34 Super Sentai, including the Megarangers, were needed to oppose them. The 34 Sentai put up a valiant fight against the ground forces, but when the Zangyack fleet itself attacked them, Akarenger told everyone to combine their powers and save the Earth. This abilities destroyed the Zangyack fleet and resulted in the loss of their powers, which resurfaced as Ranger Keys, which were dispersed throughout the universe.
The keys were collected by AkaRed, and later utilized by the 35th Super Sentai, the Gokaigers, a group of five people from different planets who came to Earth in search of the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. Kenta made a guest appearance in the season, when Gokaigers met him in the Moroboshi High School, Kenta made the young pirates attend the school, before he would give them the Megarangers's powers. When Basco ta Jolokia and his minions attacked the school in an attempt to steal these powers, Megarangers saved the school by defeating Basco, and Kenta granted the pirates his former powers. After the Gokaigers finally defeated Zangyack, the Gokaigers returned the Ranger Keys before they left Earth to find the second Greatest Treasure in the Universe. It is assumed that Kenta and his team have their powers once more.
