Mei Mei is a major character in Kung Fu Panda 3 and a supporting character in the series Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny. She is a resident of Panda Village and a passionate ribbon dancer.

Kung Fu Panda 3[]
She first appears during her performance, when she met Po, she started to flirt with him and use her ribbon to force him to play smooth. Later during Po's training, he landed on her and as her ribbon wrapped, she found it smooth before they got hugged by Big Fun.
Before Kai's arrival, Po taught her how to use nunchucks and used them during the fight with the jombies. Later she gave chi to Po as well as the others. In the end, during her training she fixed Hom-Lee's teeth making her fall in love with him. Also she gave chi to the world like the others.
Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny[]
Mei Mei decided to put on a show in which she performed herself, but the villagers were not particularly impressed with the performance. When the villagers shout and clap their hands, Mei Mei says thank you to them.
During Jindiao's vihit to the panda village, Mei Mei performed with a ribbon and was overjoyed when she received applause. When Po and the children went to Tuoluo, Mei Mei was initially reluctant to help them, but Po began to blackmail her, causing Mei Mei to help them find Laoshu. Mei Mei appeared while the children, Ping and the panda villagers were fighting against Jindiao's minions.
Mei Mei held Zhizhu at the moment when he shot the thread so that the pandas could get into the Temple of the Four Constellations. Mei Mei also held Zhizhu back when he shot a web at Jindiao. And after that she distracted with her ribbon and the dance of Jindiao’s henchmen. After Jindiao returned, Mei Mei began to threaten the evil dragon that if he did not fulfill her demands, she would throw Jade Tusk down, and was surprised that Jindiao did not care about Jade Tusk.
Mei Mei sang while Po and Constellations were on the ship. She was on the airship from which Po and Nu Hai were able to use chi to throw the crown off Whote Bone Demon's head. After this, Mei Mei, Li Shan and Ping go to safety.
Personality[]
Mei Mei is a panda who is crazy, confident and a singularly focused ribbon dancer. With the help of Po and Tigress, she takes her inner girl power to the next level. Mei Mei enjoys ribbon-dancing and performing, and is fun, easygoing, and hyperactive, as well as being rather "diva-like". She is also mildly narcissistic and controlling, willing to use her ribbons like puppet-strings on someone and playfully act like they're lavishing her with attention. She also tends to be very forward and flirtatious, particularly around Po. She also flirted with another male panda at the end of the film. She is also very confident, standing up to the jade zombies and giving one of them a beat down with her nunchucks and ribbons.
