Melodii is the main character in the indie rythm game Scratchin' Melodii.
Melodii resides in their hometown of JamWell, and is a young non-binary human child who often dreams of being a musician.
After being caught vandalising, Melodii was required to pursue community service in order to be able to pay their fine. With them encountering many people on the way, who they have to compete in rival battles with for various reasons.
Appearance[]
Melodii has light skin, short light brown hair with a pompadour and side bangs, slightly flushed cheeks, a small nose, hazel irises, and white pupils, along with their short stature. They wear lilac headphones with purple quarter-note speakers and a yellow microphone attached. They also wear a pink sweater over a white shirt, with lilac shorts and pink shoes with yellow soles. When they ascend to the 3D dimension, their pupils become light pink, similar to Jamtine's.
They carry around the AGES NoteStar with them, a flat pink turntable and keyboard that is curved in the front.
When Melodii was a toddler, as seen in a portrait on the wall of their house, they maintained their current appearance despite their obvious short height, and a small fringe in the middle of their forehead. Their shoes didn't have yellow soles, and they wore a light magenta beanie with the word AGES written in white on the brim.
Personality[]
Melodii switches between silly and serious depending on the situation. They care for people and are normally neutral in a situation, helping others out if they need it. They are confused by and scared of conflict and usually only pay attention to what they need to do.
In general, Melodii is laid-back. Even in the results screen, when getting a bad rank, they do not give an over-the-top reaction and shrug it off, saying "Eh, I guess that works." They are also shown to be somewhat inexperienced, proven when they admitted that they didn't know that vandalism was illegal until the government said so.

- Melodii's voice is VOCALOID Chris with modified settings.
- In the beta version "Grease Poppin'", their voice seems to be an FL Studio Speech Synthesizer voice.
- Melodii could beat Sonic the Hedgehog in a fight.
- Melodii is the only character in Scratchin' Melodii to have an age, even if not specified.
- In Melodii’s early design, their beanie has the word AGES, likely a nod to the term used by the video game company Sega, such as in the title of the series of ports called Sega Ages produced by them.
- AGES is SEGA spelled backwards. It is also an anagram of SAGE, the name of the event at which Scratchin' Melodii was presented.
- Melodii's hair was originally inspired by that of Alex Kidd, the previous mascot of Sega.
- Melodii has pink headphones because pink is one of LJ LephemStar's favorite colors.
