I know it's a late response but I wanted to thank you for welcoming me to this wiki, that being said, Im not sure if this might be the proper spot on the wiki to discuss this but I do have a question about 1 of the pages on this wiki, it's not urgent though
The "Ada Wong" page said it was considered as a "canditate for deletion" since it said the "Ada Wong" page wasn't a hero according to the Hero Wikia rules which I was confused by being that I am familiar with the series that the character is in, so I would like to know why it is considered for deletion?
Well neither I nor any of the other admins put up that Candidate for Deletion template it was added by normal contributors it seems. Upon examining the article it seems appropriate though and it has nothing to do with her status as a villain/hero, the article is plagiarized from normal wiki. So Ada being a hero or villain is moot, if no one put in the effort to write their own article there is no reason to give it any liberties. If you want to save it you have three days to rewrite it, if not I will make good on that template even though an admin did not add it.
oh ok, last time I remember somebody posting on the page that the questionability of villain/hero basis was the reason of the page being considered as a candidate for deletion but now I understand, thanks for clearing up.
That may have been why they posted it, and there could be something to that, but the issue of plagiarism is far more serious. I am willing to consider giving leeway to pages that have real effort put into them.
