Hi there! Quick update on FANDOM's end-of-the-year term. First, there will be changes with featured videos: as of the end of this December, "Featured" Video will be receiving some trial run experiments in hopes of improving its quality, reasons being that videos featured on a page tend to be outdated or spout all the information the user can already read on the article. The main goal will be to figure out how to complement wiki content. Because of that, you might receive a video called "The Loop" play for anonymous users, which will be meant purely to collect visitation data in the vein of the Global Taxonomy method. It won't affect all users, so you might not notice. But if you want to learn more, you can go to the blog post. For more info on Fandom's year in review, you can check out the community post. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy holidays!
sorry to bother you , but a user named dancing dinosaurs has been rescently removing things on pages , that have made sense to be their , for examples things in the info box for marth , like friends , when i put meta knight , that made sense as they met in smash bros and were allies and although smash bros is not canon , it still is not forbitted by the wikis rules , as the wikis rules state that only offical information can be used , which smash bros is offical information and is not a fanmade game , theory or fanfiction , however he removed it for some reason and keeps doing so , so if you can please talk to him about this , thanks in advance and have a good day.
Hi again! I'm writing to let you know about the Global Taxonomy. This is a feature that accumulates wikis a user visits into a list of recommended wikis tailored to them. In this context, it'll attract all fans and newcomers to the wiki! You can read more about it on the blog, plus if you're interested in template use, you can check out this link, too. Hope you find them helpful!
As I was navigating this site, I went to Flaky from Happy Tree Friends article and her original photo was replaced with an inappropriate photo of her (which was never seen in either the Internet or TV series and I suspect that it's from an unofficial source), and that made me very uncomfortable. I know it's under Mature, but that photo is overly offensive and not an official artwork. Would you mind investigating this?
Kimberly Ann Hart was recently cut via this discussion, but I disagree with the verdict because she was brainwashed. We've already established that being brainwashed into doing something bad doesn't disqualify a character from being Pure Good (incidentally Tommy Oliver from the same series was nominated for removal a while back for the exact same reason and ruled a keeper), so can I do a reproposal please?
you may repropose, sure, just be sure to let other admins know the reasons why - Pure Good rules are still quite confusing and probably in need of updating (like the "no killing" rule) - brainwashed characters can't be blamed for their actions, even full-out villains who are brainwashed are exempt from Pure Evil (like Batman Who Laughs) - so the same should apply for heroes, providing it is 100 percent proven they have no control over it or secretly enjoyed doing any of the evil deeds.
