Micah, or Micah "Sloat" Cruise was the main protagonist of the original critically acclaimed Paranormal Activity and a minor character in it's sequel-prequel Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. The boyfriend of Katie Featherson, he attempts to discover the truth laying behinds Katie's reccurring nightmare.

Biography

Paranormal Activity

About sometimes after their date, Micah and Katie switch to a new home aboard San Diego. Katie claims that an evil presence has been haunting her since her birth, sparking Micah curiousity as he set up secruity camera's around the house to catch if theres any paranormal activity that occurs while they sleep.

The camera captures many strange occurrences during the night; they start off as minor noises, flickering lights, and bedroom door movements, but over time escalate into violent door slamming, loud thuds, and demonic grunts and screeches. When Micah goes to sleep with Katie, she stares at him for straight up two hours before leaving outside.

Some nights later, Katie relieved the same systoms and stares at Micah again. While he is spending a calming time in the bed, he heard Katie screams and quickly wakes up. He runs down to her aids, trying to help her while attacking a intruder. Suddenly, Katie charges at him and stab him multipule time, marking his demise.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

Hearing the screams of his girlfriend, Micah quickly charges down as he encounter Jesse Arista and attempts to defend his girlfriend. However, he is caught by shock the moment he then turn to his possessed girlfriend, who stabbed him multipule time to Jesse's terror.

Personality

Micah is a strong believer in paranormal things, despite Katie attempts to use the doctors words to him, Micah brushed it off, revealing that he is rather well-awared of Tobi while doubting it. While despite being easily angered, he is geinuenlly a nice person and cares alot about Katie.

He later become aware of Tobi presence and tries to convince Katie to go, but then decided to go after her desicion showing that he is a bit lenient on his girlfriend.

• Micah death cause is actually revealed to be Tobi tricks, using Katie as a bait to lure and murder him.
• In every single alternative ending, Micah is doomed to die.
• Micah is the third main protagonist to die, following after Daniel Rey and Denis death before hand.
• Micah demise is never shown on-screen, it was actually shown in the time-travel sequence, the ending of PA: TMO.
