Michelangelo is one of the main protagonists of the 1987 cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is the brother of Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and adoptive son of Splinter.
He was voiced by Townsend Coleman, who also voiced The Tick in the animated series of the same name, Waldo from Where's Waldo?, Colt Wilcox from Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs and Scott Howard in Teen Wolf: The Animated Series.
Appearance[]
Michelangelo is a mutant turtle with an orange bandana worn across his face. Mikey also sports orange elbow and knee pads around his body and a brown belt across his torso for his Nunchucku.
Personality[]
Michelangelo is the most laid back and fun loving of the turtles. He speaks like a stereotypical surfer, even shouting "Cowabunga" several times in battle. Although he is the least intelligent of the Turtles, he is far from incompetent, as he is just as capable of kicking some serious shell as his brothers.
