~ Michelangelo |
Leader Michelangelo is one of the four main protagonists of the 1990's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series. He is the most laid-back of his brothers as well as being the youngest and wears an orange bandana and wields nunchucks. He is one of the two tritagonists of the fourth film TMNT (the other being Donatello).
In the first three films, he was voiced by Robbie Rist, who also voiced Mondo Gecko in the 2012 TV series, and in the fourth film he was voiced by Mikey Kelley, who was the original voice of Ratchet in Ratchet & Clank before being replaced by James Arnold Taylor, who coincidentally voiced Leonardo in the same film.
Biography[]
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[]
Before his mutation, Michelangelo was one of four baby turtles who lost in the sewers, and got covered by an ooze made by TCRI. Michelangelo and the other baby turtles were then found by a rat named Splinter, who gathered them up in a coffee can. The next morning, Michelangelo and the other baby turtles had doubled in size, as the ooze had affected them, along with Splinter. As he and the other baby turtles started to become intelligent, Splinter started to raise them as his sons and named them the Renaissance masters, after finding a book on the Renaissance artists in the storm drain in the sewers, he was named after Michelangelo. Splinter then began teaching Michelangelo and his turtle brothers, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello, ninjutsu, which learned from his deceased master Hamato Yoshi.
