Michelangelo is one of the four main protagonists of Paramount's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles duology. He is the younger brother of Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael and the adoptive son of Splinter.
He is portrayed by Noel Fisher.

Background[]
As part of a secret project known as "Renaissance", Michelangelo had a mutagen inject into his regulary by Eric Sacks, along with his brothers Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello and a rat named Splinter, which caused their intelligence, strength, and size to grow, so Sacks could help his master and his adoptive father, the Shredder, the leader of the terrorist ninja group known as the Foot Clan, start a chemical outbreak in New York City and use the mutagen as an antidote for the outbreak, which would increase Sacks' wealth and make him look like a hero to the city. However, they were stopped when Doctor O'Neil, Sacks' partner learned of it, and destroyed the laboratoryand the research by causing a fire, and Sacks killed Doctor O'Neil for doing so but Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Splinter were saved Dr. O'Neil's daughter, April who released them into the sewers for their safety. After Michelangelo and his brothers were taken by Splinter who raised them as his sons and began to teach them ninjutsu after he taught himself for the next fifthteen years so they be to protect themselves and remain hidden from the world.

As Michelangelo and his brothers continued their training, they also kept an eye on the Foot Clan. One night Donatello and his brothers learned that the Foot a holding a subway station full of people, including April, who was now a reporter for the Channel Six News, hostage, after Raphael had stopped them form an attempted robbery from the previous night and they were ordered by the Shredder to lure him out, although Mikey was at first more interested in watching a cat video. However, Michelangelo and his brothers arrived at the scene on a train passing by the station and turned out the lights so no one could clearly see them and defeated the Foot Clan members then retreated out the out the station, only to be followed by April, who took a picture of them.
