Mihaly is the dancer for "Rather Be" in Just Dance 2023 Edition, serving as one of the major characters within the plot of the story-based playlist in the game, "Enter the Danceverses".
They were portrayed by Soraya Gacem, who has also been performing as other Just Dance coaches since Just Dance 2017, the Panda and corrupted form were portrayed by Axelle Carrere who debut in this game.
Personality[]
As mentioned in Coach of the Week, Mihaly is artistic and sensitive. And they have the feeling of the vibes across the Just Dance universe.
Biography[]
Rather Be[]
This routine starts off on a loud crowded street. Silhouettes can be seen passing the coach, Mihaly, and the sky is dark. When Mihaly puts on their headphones, the background fades into a cavern and the noises of the crowd can no longer be heard. Mihaly summons eight teal crystals that float around and light up with the beat of the song. A spiral then appears in the background that transitions it to an island in a river in a canyon. Two waterfalls can be seen behind Mihaly, and pieces of ancient ruins can be seen in the river and beside Mihaly. The green patch the coach is standing on starts to rise out of the ground and begins to float and carry the coach through the environment. Mihaly then jumps from platform to platform as they get carried through the canyon. The underside of a bridge, part of the ruins, can be seen above them at some points during this. As the chorus ends, the background fades back into the cavern with the teal crystals. The crystals float and act similar to before. As the song approaches the next chorus, the backgrounds spirals back into the canyon, except the coach is much higher in the air. Dark pink and green vegetation can be seen on the rocks and one waterfall can be seen. As the chorus starts, Mihaly passes under the bridge again and begins jumping from platform to platform again. Mihaly continues forward and more of the bridge can be seen, revealing that it leads to the top of the first waterfall. After the chorus, the background fades back into the cavern, but this time, the crystals fuse into Master Panda. The background then moves back to the canyon, showing both dancers higher in the air on their own platforms. Master Panda and Mihaly both jump from platform to platform and wind up at the top of the canyon. Colored stones arranged in a circular pattern can be seen on the ground and a temple and more waterfalls can be seen in the distance. The camera pans to the right and reveals the Temple of Master Panda, a temple with a large stone statue of Master Panda with water flowing from both of its hands. As the song ends, Master Panda places a pawprint on Mihaly’s shirt and then dissolves. As the routine comes to a close, a portal opens and Sara, Wanderlust, Discoball, and Brezziana step through. Mihaly waves to them.
Locked Out of Heaven[]
When this routine ends, Sara, Wanderlust, Discoball, Brezziana, and Mihaly meet Jack Rose.
Majesty[]
Sara, Wanderlust, Discoball, Brezziana, Mihaly and Jack Rose are participating in a dance battle in an attempt to free Night Swan's minions. The coaches are standing on a runway surrounded by many of Night Swan’s soldiers. When the first drop starts, a minion battles Brezziana in front of a portal leading to The Cosmics' home, which gets its color back when P2 of that routine in the portal is freed. When the post-drop starts, it pans to another portal with another dance battle between Mihaly and a minion. The portal is showing the background of I Like It, which also gets its color back when P3 of that routine is freed. Sara dance battles with someone but it is not seen who yet. Eventually by the end, they save all of the coaches and Wanderlust takes them all inside Discoball, to celebrate.
If You Wanna Party[]
Everyone is inside Discoball. The song begins and all of the coaches dance together. When the song ends, Wanderlust opens a portal for Sara, who enters the portal, sending her back to the real world as everyone waves goodbye.
Trivia[]
- Mihaly's name means "Godlike" in Hungarian, which also means "a gift from God" in Hebrew.
- On November 28, 2022, Just Dance’s Twitter account explained that their name is a reference to Hungarian psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, who discussed the concept of flow, which is the basis of "The Flow" concept that was previously mentioned in explanations about the routines of Bad Habits and Daisy as well as Mihaly’s segment for "Coach of the Week".
- People often confuse Mihaly as a girl, but in Coach of the Week, they are classified as non-binary.
