Miko Kubota (also known as Me KO) is one of the two main protaginsts of the Nickelodeon/Netflix series, Glitch Techs.

She is voiced by Monica Ray.

Biography

Miko Kubota is a 16-year-old Japanese-American who has a job working for Hinobi's technology store and is secretly working as a Glitch Tech.

She is athletic, seen being able to kick up high above her head. She constantly is running and hyper. She loves her job and has fun doing it.

Powers/abilities

Repair of electronics: She can repair a whack a mole (bunny in the case) arcade machine in Collection Quest.

Immunity to mind wipe: For unknown reason, her mind can't be erased with the mind wipe blast of the Glitch Tech glove Mitch used  on her, without any effect, while Five and everyone else had their memory wiped.

Glove

  • Cat bubble: shot at the target and capture it midair in a bubble full of cat.
  • Mind Wipe

Upgrades

  • Pet: can store her glitch pet Ally or summon it to help her. She can select a skin for her to give other abilities.

Trivia

  • Her long indigo hair in a hime cut, with pink ends and blunt bangs, makes her bear resemblance to Twilight Sparkle as she appears in Equestria Girls, as well as Stocking Anarchy from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt and Zatana in Lauren Faust's DC Super Hero Girls.
  • Only Miko's sisters know her secret Glitch Tech career, but promise that her secret's save with them since they know blackmail violates their "sibling code".
  • She is immune to the effects from Hinobi's memory removing tech used by Mitch Williams.  So instead of the "..." signal after a mind wipe, it is now showing an error signal (red icon).
  • It's unknown what makes Miko immune to mind wipe, unlike every other person.  However, fan theories states that Miko isn't really human, but either an android or cyborg, or even an artificial intelligence glitch herself, judging from her hyperactive personality, her weirdly multicolored hair, and thick calves which are traits to most other female anime or video game characters.
    • In fact if you look closely, in one scene where Miko's mother confiscates her console and gaming supplies for disobeying her, she appears to have a blue bracelet on which could be from Hinobi.  This could hint she probably secretly works for them as well.  And she might've either adopted Miko and raised her from childhood (if she turns out to be a glitch or android)  or turned to them for an emergency transformation following an accident (if she turns out to be a cyborg).
    • So the reason why she was unwilling to have Miko join the tournament is most likely because for Miko's safety, given the fact that she was almost captured by a feral glitch.  So Miko's mom may have probably pretended not to believe her when she explained what happened, and then locked her in her room, grounding her from technology and taking her console away, in order to prevent any danger to her.
    • Then when Phil and Mitch explained to Miko's parents that she was telling the truth all along and assigned her and Five to work for the Hinobi company, her mother quickly accepted before having her and her husband's memories of the glitches wiped out. And why Miko's mother explained to her who she really is cause she thinks Miko just isn't ready to learn the truth.
    • If this is the case, then it could probably one of the predicted plot twists for when Glitch Techs continues in the future, as well as hints of Mitch Williams most likely becoming the main villain of the series, judging from his ego, arrogance, and jealousy over Five and Miko, fearing they might top his (mostly ill-gotten) top scores and EXP.
