She was portrayed by Kathryn Newton, in her main physical form (who also played Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania) and by Vince Vaughn in the Blissfield Butcher's body (who also played Peter LaFleur in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Jeremy Grey in Wedding Crashers, Fred Claus in Fred Claus and David Wozniak in Delivery Man and Nick Van Owen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Story[]

Millie makes her first appearance attending the Blissfield Valley High School homecoming football game, where she performs as the school mascot. The Butcher appears when she waits for a ride home, whereupon he stabs her, only to get an identical wound on his shoulder due to the magic in his dagger, the La Dola. Millie's sister Charlene then discovers the Butcher's dagger and uses the weapon as evidence to pin him for killings, leading to a manhunt against the Butcher.

The next day, Millie finds that she and the Butcher have swapped bodies. Despite their body switch, they both head back. Millie's friends recognise her when she truthfully answers some personal questions. They then find that the Butcher's dagger was responsible for the swap, and they must stab him to switch bodies again by midnight, or Millie will be stuck in his body forever.

Millie and her friends reach the golf course and assault the Butcher, at which point she saves her crush Booker from his wrath. Josh is at first unaware of the situation but Millie opens him up to it by reciting a love poem.

Millie and her friends infiltrate the police station to steal La Dola and retrieve her body, but the Butcher escapes as Millie's policewoman sister, Charlene, knows zip about the situation and thus stalls the infiltration. Regardless, Millie and her friends retrieve the dagger while the Butcher kills four football players. The time is almost midnight, but Millie manages to stab her body's left arm to return to it just as the police shoot the Butcher's body, seemingly ending his reign of terror. She then finally shares an intimate kiss with Booker who is now her boyfriend, and jokingly flips off her friends when they jokingly cheer her on.

However, it turns out the Butcher had faked his death. He escapes the ambulance and heads to the Kessler household, where the Kesslers and the Butcher clash one last time. The Butcher is killed and his reign of terror destroyed when Millie stabs him with a table leg.

Trivia[]

  • Millie is the only one in the Kessler family to not have a name that starts with a C.
