Min Min also known by the alias of The Ramen Bomber, is one of the playable heroes in the 2017 Nintendo Switch video game ARMS.
She is voiced by Haruna Takatsu.
Appearance[]
Min Min appears mostly human except for her spiraled irises and her ramen-like hair and ARMS. She has green eyes, blonde hair with straight-cut bangs and a fringe, along with an orange mask. Slices of narutomaki (a Japanese processed fish product sometimes found in ramen) are attached to the upper part of her noodle arms. When fully charged, her left noodle arm transforms into a dragon. She wears an orange beanie shaped like an upside-down ramen bowl, an orange athletic shirt, orange athletic shorts, black calf-length leggings, and green sneakers. Other outfits she wears includes a chef-like version of her outfit consisting of an orange shirt with a small bowtie on the collar, matching shorts and orange leggings as well as an apron with her logo on it and black flat shoes, a white sweater revealing blue bra or undershirt straps and blue jeans along with two of her badges pinned to her hat, as well as a dark orange kimono with white fur on the top, a yellow bow in the back, and a pair of black zōri (Japanese sandals) with orange straps. She's also shown to wear her hair in a ponytail with a green hairband and into a loose bun held by a green chopstick with a narutomaki on it.
Biography[]
Min Min is a Chinese martial artist, just like her appearance, clothing, and spoken language all suggest, who runs the Mintendo Ramen House, a restaurant known for its delicious ramen bowls, which has been run by her family for generations, as its proprietress. She participates in the ARMS Grand Prix in order to promote her family's restaurant.
She appears mostly human other than her spiraled irises, ramen-like hair and noodle arms, which can become ARMS at will (which she needs her mask to gain good control over). Her home stage in ARMS, the Ramen Bowl, is set in front of the Mintendo Ramen House.
Other Media[]
Super Smash Bros.[]
Min Min appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate originally as a spirit, but became a playable DLC fighter in 2020. Her fighting style is unique in that she uses her ARMS to fight and compliments their use with the addition of throwing kicks into her moveset. She fares better on the ground than in the air, and does much better against heavier opponents than lighter ones. Her Final Smash, ARMS Rush, has her calling the other fighters to relentlessly smack her opponents around before finishing up the attack with her Dragon ARM, blasting them with a laser that sends them flying.
Gameplay[]
Min Min is a unique character in ARMS in the fact that her martial arts skills that she compliments her boxing combat prowess with enable her to use kicks to deflect her opponents' attacks. She can also use her kicks on them multiple times and kick them away after she grabs them. One of her unique ARMS, the Dragon, can shoot laser beams at her opponent the minute she punches with them.
