The Mini-Doras are recurring characters of the Doraemon franchise. They are Doraemon's gadgets, commissioned by the Time Patrol as rewards for him helping them to capture the criminals Dolmanstein and Black Mask. They appears as mini versions of Doraemon, each with a different color, and acts as his helpers.
In the 1979 anime, they were voiced by Rei Sakuma, who also voiced Shizuka and Mimimi. In the 2005 English dub, they were voiced by Cristina Vee.
Appearance[]
The Mini-Doras look like mini versions of Doraemon himself, each one with a different color: Red, green and yellow.
Personality[]
The Mini-Doras can think and feel for themselves, and communicate with Doraemon through the "Mini-Dora" language. Like Doraemon, they also like eating dorayaki and hate being called "raccoons". They act as his helpers for all sorts of tasks, such as repairing his internal mechanism.
History[]
After successfully capturing Dolmanstein and Black Mask thanks to Doraemon's accidental help, the Time Patrol request the Matsushiba Robot Factory, who created Doraemon, to make the Mini-Doras to celebrate his heroism. They're given to him alongside a new fourth dimensional pocket to replace the one he lost during the attack on the criminals by Principal Teraodai. Afterwards, they're sent back in time alongside Doraemon himself by Sewashi to aid the latter's great-great-grandfather Nobita. The Mini-Doras have proven to be very helpful for Doraemon and Nobita, curing the former and aiding the latter many times.
