Minis

The Minis are the miniature versions of the Skylanders.

Biography[]

The Skylander Minis started off as regular "Sidekicks," assisting the Skylanders on many exciting adventures. And what they lacked in size they more than made up for in courage. Ultimately determined to become full-fledged heroes, they trained at the Skylands Academy - honing their powers and skills until they were ready. Now, they stand side by side with their full-grown counterparts, ready to defend Skylands against Kaos and his evil minions.

History[]

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure[]

The Sidekicks, being Gill Runt, Terrabite, Trigger Snappy and Whisper Elf went to help the Skylanders in their adventure to fight against Kaos.

Skylanders: Giants[]

four more Sidekicks appeared to help both the Skylanders and the Giants to stop Kaos from using the Iron Fist of Arkus to rise the Arkeyan army. These four are Barkley, Eye-Small, Mini-Jini and Thumpling.

Skylanders: Trap Team[]

The eight Sidekicks joined a new group of Skylanders known as the Minis, with the other members being Bop, Breeze, Drobit, Hijinx, Pet-Vac, Small Fry, Spry and Weeruptor. The Minis went to help the Skylanders and the Trap Masters to fight and reform escaped Villains as well as the Doom Raiders and even Kaos himself.

Barkly is the miniature Tree Rex, the Giant that comes with the main starter pack for Skylanders: Giants.
Bop is the miniature Bash, an original Skylander of the Earth element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Breeze is the miniature Whirlwind, an original Skylander of the Air element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Drobit is a miniature Drobot, an original Skylander of the Tech element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Spry is a miniature Spyro, a starter pack Skylander of the Magic element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Terrabite is a miniature Terrafin, an original Skylander of the Earth element from Skylanders: Spryo's Adventure.
Thumpling is a miniature Thumpback, the Giant for the Water element from Skylanders: Giants.
Trigger Snappy is a miniature Trigger Happy, a starter pack Skylander of the Tech element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Weeruptor is a miniature Eruptor, an original Skylander of the Fire element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Whisper Elf is a miniature Stealth Elf, an original Skylander of the Life element from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Other[]

There is no Mini for the Light or Dark elements, as those elements did not appear until Skylanders: Trap Team. None of the Minis are based on a Skylander from Skylanders: Trap Team.
Small Fry is the only Mini who is based on a character from Skylanders: Swap Force.
None of the Minis are based off of SWAP Force Skylanders.
Barkley is the only Mini who shares the same special edition as his parent Skylander, as both Tree Rex and Barkley have a version of themselves called "Gnarly".
Barkley, Pet-Vac and Weeruptor are the only Minis with special versions, with them being Gnarly, Power Punch, and Eggsellent respectively.
