Towards vanity, there lies no answer. But even so...
Misaki Imashino (戒野ミサキ in Japanese) is one of the characters of the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Arius Satellite School (or Arius Branch School) and wields a Rocket Launcher. She originally served as the antagonist for the third chapter of the third volume of the main story, the "Eden Treaty", but later served as one of the supporting protagonists afterwards.
Personality[]
As previously mentioned, Misaki originally served as the protagonist of the story. At first glance, she appears to be stoic or expressionless. One of the most common things Misaki claim is how "life is meaningless." Misaki's primary focus is getting missions done. However, this isn't the full picture. She appears to only be doing this as she's provided with no other choice. Her whole life has essentially been torture for her. Ever since she was young, she has made several attempts at suicide to end the pain, hence the bandage marks on her neck and hands, but she lived through all of them thanks to Saori Joumae who has been protecting and training her.
Throughout the years, Misaki had been living under the harsh environments of the Arius Branch School, which was under the rule of a demoness named Beatrice, with Saori and two others, Atsuko Hakari and Hiyori Tsuchinaga before becoming the Arius Squad. Beatrice was a cruel and ruthless ruler, not hesitating to punish those who dare to disobey her orders. Misaki, who didn't want to suffer anymore but can't even end her own life to end the suffering, had no choice to follow orders.
Her whole life had been her feeling hopeless, which is mainly factored by the teachings that have been instilled by Beatrice amongst Arius students and just the general torturous days she had to live through her whole existence. However, ever since Beatrice was defeated, she began seeing glimpses of hope she could cling onto, one example being Sensei, the main character of Blue Archive who have always been trying to care for her. Misaki began opening up herself and have been slightly more optimistic than her old self ever since although she still seems depressed. She also appears to have claustrophobia and an allergy towards pollen.
