Miseong Ga is the main protagonist of the action manhwa series Insector. Althought he appears as an ordinary tranquille high school boy, Miseong is an Insector, one of the few to appear as non-hostile to regular humans, but also saves the innocents from most Insectors. For a long time, since the death of his mother as a child at the hand of an extremely powerful Insector named Kijima, Miseong sought for a blood-thirsty revenge for her death, looking for all Insectors to be killed at his hand alongside his classmate Yeojin Lee, Kijima in particular.

Appearance

Due to his quiet and collected attitude, Miseong does not show much emotions. He is a slim regular-looking Korean boy of tall height with short black hair and black eyes. At school, he wears a typical white shirt. He is known to have a bandage on the right side of his neck which covers a hole that lets ants out. It is further shown that he has a highly muscular build, despite his seemingly skinny appearance particularly at the start of the series.

In his ant Insector form, Miseong's body fully covered with a dark armor or sometime depicted as a suit, mimicking the appearance of an ant. His transformation features featuring sharp short antennas, large long claws, powerful chest pads over his torso. His face is covered by something like a helmet with dark eyes.

Personality

Miseong is constantly quiet, collected, and stern boy, unconcerned of his surroundings. He typically spends him time alone, like eating junk foods, or playing with his ants. He is also depicted as kind by a particular female classmate despite his indifferent nature. In practice, unlike the most Insectors, Miseong uses his powers for good, as exemplified when he walks to a group of men away from a woman whom they targeted at night, knowing that the men are in practice the victims and the woman is an Insector. Stuck with no choice but to kill the other Insectors for survival, it is revealed as such that the reason why he eats so much presumably due to his lack of consumption of the other Insectors to satisfy the countless of ants living inside of him. However the next after an overwhelming fight for him, his quiet and stoic nature began to break as the ants inside him became unsastified with the amount of blood they are fed, leading to Miseong to eat more and snaps while he confronts his classmate Yeojin, who is forced to kill him.

Insector Powers

• Insector Transformation: To transform and be ready battle, particularly if faced with other Insectors, Miseong will remove the bandage on his neck to release the ants in his body.
• Insector Senses: A power that appears to unique to Miseong, unlike other Insectors, Miseong is capable of detecting the presence of other Insectors from a few kilometers away, whether they are in their human forms. This ability is presumably linked to the abilities of regular ants.
• Claw Manipulation: Miseong can modify the size of his hands or claws in his Insector form to pierce into his enemies or for various other uses.
• Insector Consumption: By shouting "feast" commands his ants to consume that targets who are mostly Insectors. Miseong seems to have some degree of controls over his ants since he can chose to consume his target, as exemplified by how he could turn back a larva into human by consuming the larva fed into the victim instead of the victim themself. It appaers that the more Insectors or larvas that Miseong's ants manage to consume with his ants, the stronger Miseong's powers can grow, even allowing him to gain access to new abilities such as clone creations and energy blast generations.
• Superhuman Physical Prowesses: Being an ant Insector, Miseong's physical powers increase drastically to help him wistand and fight back enemies, such as wistanding extremely heavely blows and throw deadly blows that swiftly increase by forces in a matter of time, along with other powers, as noted by a few of Miseong's opponents in their subsequent battles.
• Energy Blast: After consuming enough Insectors, Miseong appears to have unlocked the power to shoot energy blasts.
• Clone Creation: By consuming more Insectors, the number of Miseong's ants multiplied drastically, allowing him to create dozens of clones that are almost as strong as him and can fire powerful energy blasts. This power even allowed him to land great damage on one of the strongest Apex Insects, Daejun Gong, which prompted him to turn into his Insector form.
