Misery is one of the deuteragonists of the Ruby Gloom franchise.
Gloomy and shy while still very kind, Misery is a dark blue banshee-like girl with long black hair who is always in a state of mlancholy, though she does have small moments of happiness. She doesn't mean to be a walking disaster area, but her clumsiness and extroadinarily bad luck culminate in creating endless mishaps for her, something that runs in her family.
Despite this, she is shown to be a gifted singer, though this is only possible when she's asleep. Her bad luck also gives her a break on Friday the 13th, when only good things happen to her.
