Mitabi Jarnach is a minor supporting character of the anime/manga series Attack on Titan. He was a leader part of the Garrison in Trost District and also one of the top three best soldiers that fought in the battle to retake Trost.
He was voiced by Takanori Hoshino in Japanese and by Kyle Hebert in English.
Appearance[]
Mitabi Jarnach was a tall man with short brown hair, beard and pupils who often seen to have a worried expression on his face. He wore the standard scout brown uniform with a green shirt underneath.
Personality[]
Mitabi was shown to be a nervous man who would easily give up his mission after seeing Eren losing his titan form's control. Despite his cowardless Ian was able to convince him to continue the mission showing his braveness.
History[]
For Eren's mission to block the breach in Trost's Wall that was created by the Colossal Titan, Mitabi and his team were given the job to protect him during the mission. Mitabi and Rico would later order his team to give up on the mission when Eren lost control of his titan thinking Eren has no difference than average pure titans. However Ian Dietrich refused to abandon the mission and tells the team to protect Eren from the titan that are approaching. Despite being horrified by Ian's decision, his reason that there is no other way to kill the titans without Eren was enough make change his mind. Eren would later regain controls on his titan form and continue to take the boulder to the wall to block the hole. Mitabi's team starts screaming at the titan in order gain their attention away from Eren. Mitabi's life would end after he got distracted because of the death of one of his team members.
