Biography[]
Season 2[]
Mitch and his best friend Chris were among the students who were inspired to join Cobra Kai after seeing Miguel Diaz's impressive performance at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament.
Upon joining he was given the nickname "Assface" by Hawk, who was quick to take Mitch and Chris under his wing as his goons. He trains under Sensei Johnny Lawrence and the latter's Sensei John Kreese. During a training session where students must mix concrete in the cement mixer, Mitch is one of the few mixing concrete, and he, Chris, Miguel, Hawk, and a few others were also pushing the cement drum together. He later participates in the All Valley Fest with his classmates. He also gets exposed to Kreese's ruthless teachings.
Chris and Mitch later accompanied Hawk along with Doug Rickenburger and Mikey to go confront Demetri over a negative Yelp review he had left for Cobra Kai following his encounter with John Kreese. After Demetri refused to take the review down, Hawk and his goons attacked him, with Chris hesitating. When they are unable to find Demetri, Chris advises Hawk to leave him alone, but Hawk refuses to listen. When they surround him, they were fought off by Samantha LaRusso and Robby Keene. At night under Kreese's order, Mitch accompanies Hawk and a small group of students to vandalize and destroy Daniel LaRusso's dojo.
The next day, the Cobra Kai's were confronted by Daniel and accuses Johnny of trashing his dojo. This results with Chris, Nathaniel, and several students defecting to Miyagi Do. Mitch becomes upset with Chris's decision to quit and ends their friendship.
Cobra Kai does an exercise training at Coyote Creek with Mitch, Miguel, Tory on Johnny's team while Hawk, Aisha, Raymond (now known as Stingray) are on Kreese's team. Mitch eventually loses to Hawk during the training exercise. He then watches the duel between Miguel and Hawk and when Stingray attacks Miguel and wins the event. During another training at the dojo, Mitch and Hawk pairs up for a head-butt lesson.
Mitch, along with the Cobra Kai's, attends Moon's party and sees that she invited the Miyagi-Do's. As the night goes when Demetri roasts Hawk; he and Mitch attempt to attack Demetri, but are physically blocked by Chris and Robby. Just as Robby, Mitch, Hawk, Chris, many of the students are about to come to blows, the cops then arrive, causing the party to end, with the beef between both dojos reaching a new high before their first day back at school.
After first period is over, the showdown between both dojos begin. Mitch briefly fights off a Miyagi-Do student before facing Chris. The former friends exchange words despite Chris not wanting to fight before Mitch throws a punch at Chris before missing and Chris replies with a strong kick to the back, sending Mitch flying into a locker, but he shrugs it off to take on Chris. He is eventually is able to kick Chris to the ground, but Chris wins the fight by clubbing him on the head with a school book. Following the school brawl, he joins Hawk, Tory, Stingray and other Cobra Kai students as they turn against Johnny (whom they blame for Miguel’s injury in the fight) and embrace a new loyalty to Kreese.
Season 3[]
Mitch remains in Cobra Kai under Kreese's control. He returns to school two weeks after the fight. He, Hawk, and Bert have a confrontation with Chris, Demetri, and Nathaniel. Shortly, Counselor Blatt arrives and asks if everything is okay before the rivals walk away.
After Hawk finds out about Miyagi-Do hosting a car-wash to raise money for supporting Miguel's surgery, Hawk vows that they won't get away with it. At the end of the day, Mitch helps Hawk to confront Nathaniel. Mitch comments that the money will be donated in the name of Cobra Kai. The duo then proceed to beat him up and take the money with them.
Later on, Mitch, Hawk, Mikey and Doug, cause havoc in Golf N'Stuff including harassing Chris, who works there, and stealing prizes. The group ends up breaking into a nearby laser tag arena to drink beer, where they are attacked by Miyagi-Do students. Mitch ends up fighting Chris again and initially finds himself on the losing end. However, as Tory arrives with more Cobra Kai's to help, Mitch manages to get help from Doug and defeats Chris. Mitch, Tory, and the other Cobra Kai's encourages Hawk to break Demetri's arm in which Hawk does so.
When Kreese brings new recruits to Cobra Kai, Mitch attempts to mess with newcomer Kyler and Brucks, by insulting him, but quickly gets scared and backs away when Kyler snaps at him. As class begins, Mitch and Kyler are up first to spar. Mitch lands a kick on Kyler before the latter manages to defeat him. Kreese responds to the loss by kicking Mitch out of Cobra Kai much to Hawk and Mitch's dismay. Hawk defends Mitch by stating that Mitch has been loyal to the dojo, but Kreese states that Mitch is not Cobra Kai material.
After being kicked out of Cobra Kai, Mitch finds himself rejected and mocked by Hawk and his former classmates, but shortly afterward, he joins Johnny's newly-founded Eagle Fang Karate along with Miguel (who has recovered from his injuries), Bert (who was kicked out earlier after he refused to feed a hamster to a snake), and a few others. While training, Mitch and Eagle Fang are shocked to find out that the upcoming All Valley Tournament was cancelled, but Miguel was able to convince the council to let the tournament continue.
One night, Mitch and the other Eagle Fang's are invited to Sam LaRusso's house, where she suggests that both Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do must start working together to take on Cobra Kai. Although Mitch and the rest of the students are against this with Chris reminding Mitch's role of breaking Demetri's arm but Mitch said that Miyagi-Do started the fight and Chris counters that he nearly lost his job at Golf N Stuff. Even after sitting down for several minutes he isn't really prepared to work with former Cobra's, but all the beef is squashed, but when Demetri makes a speech about how they should work together to take on Cobra Kai, they agree on it.
The group come up with ideas for their new dojo, just before several Cobra Kai's break in, resulting in a fight breaking out. Mitch helps defend the house during the ensuing brawl. He spends most of the time fighting his former ally, Mikey, and overall has the upper hand. He is later beaten up by Paul and later faces Doug. Mitch, Miyagi-Do, and Eagle eventually gain the upper hand when Hawk has a change of heart and decides to switch sides, helping Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang defeat the Cobra Kai's.
Sometime after the fight, Mitch and his Eagle Fang friends show up at Miyagi-Do as Johnny and Daniel prepare to work together to train their students for the upcoming All-Valley where Hawk reunites with Demetri, Bert reunites with Nate, and Mitch reunites with Chris. The pair hug and put their former rivalry behind them before their first training session with Johnny and Daniel.
Season 4[]
Mitch continues training at Eagle Fang for the tournament. He is then ordered to spar with Bert, but is distracted, allowing Bert to kick him twice. While sparring against Hawk, he does appear to be losing but managed to land a hit on Hawk before their match is halted with no winner and Hawk accidentally kicks a hole on the door. Eventually, Mitch and the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang help clear out space at the Miyagi-Do dojo after Hawk came up with an idea to build an Okinawan sparring deck like the painting and the two dojos were able to create it. As Daniel and Johnny agreed to train their dojos with a different style, Mitch and the Eagle Fang students would train with Daniel.
Once things start to escalate even further between both sensei’s, with Daniel and Johnny having a 1984 rematch where the winner will take over the training. During the fight, Chris records the whole thing on his phone while he and Mitch have a commentary on the event. The fight results the sensei's knocking each other out and no winner is declared. After an argument between the sensei's, the plan for both dojos to work together comes to an end, with Mitch leaving with Eagle Fang.
While waiting for their female recruit Piper, Mitch corrects Johnny about how long they've been waiting, but when Johnny turns around, he stops talking. However, they learn that Piper joined Cobra Kai, which upsets them. Fortunately, through Bert's idea, they get a girl named Devon to join. During one of their training sessions, Mitch is sparring with another student, but when he gets sand thrown in his eyes, he ends up hitting his head on a shelf. On one occasion, he is kicked in the groin by Devon. After the session, he is upset with Miguel for being a co-sensei.
On the day of the All-Valley, Mitch is participating in the skills competition. He demonstrates his skills with a bo staff, but ends up throwing it to the judges. He most likely participated in the round, but would end up losing to some opponents from different dojos. Despite Eagle Fang being eliminated from the tournament, he still watches the matches and joins Miyagi-Do after Daniel and Johnny reconcile and team up for Sam and Tory's match.
Season 5[]
Mitch goes to a water park alongside with Eagle Fang students, Devon and Bert. After a heated exchange between Eagle Fang, Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do, all the students are kicked out.
When Cobra Kai opened a new location at a mall, Mitch was at the area, he ate a free brownie and got a free snack only for him to get caught by Chris, Bert, and Nathaniel, causing him to put down the free snack he grabbed and leave the area with the three.
Both Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang students (including a redeemed Robby) begin training with Chozen. He gives each student an egg as well as time to hide but are picked off with ease by their new sensei. After Anthony's idea, the lesson ends with the students learning a new lesson on working together in order to protect something of value.
Later, Mitch along with Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang goes to the Cobra Kai dojo to fight against them in order to qualify for the Sekai Taikai tournament. While arriving, he notices that the flagship dojo has smoothies and many girls on their team, only for Bert to turn him away. During the girls match, Sam wins her match and because the organizers are impressed with the dojo, Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang qualifies. He later attends the afterparty at Miguel's apartment, where he meets 3 girls and believes that they were invited because their dojo got into to the Sekai Taikai; however, the 3 don't know what it is and only wanted a drink. When he tries to explain what it is, Hawk tells him to get a cup for the girls, causing to him to get irritated (because he was embarrassed in front of them) while doing so.
Now ready to finish Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang, along with a redeemed Tory, arrive at the Cobra Kai dojo to find evidence on Terry Silver. While Cobra Kai confronts them, it's later revealed by Kenny and Kyler that Mitch rejoined Cobra Kai. When a shocked Bert asks Mitch why he is doing this, Mitch explains that he has felt disrespected by his 'allies', as they always address his by the name 'Penis Breath.' He also adds that he never wanted to leave Cobra Kai in the first place, and that Cobra Kai's lavish way of training is what suits him.
A fight later breaks out; Mitch and a fellow Cobra takes on Chris, who is able to easily get rid of the latter's ally. The two later fights each other with Chris coming out on top for a third time by knocking him to the ground. Once Silver's cheating ways are exposed and he is defeated by Daniel in a battle, Kenny, Mitch, Kyler and the other now former Cobras leave Cobra Kai for good.
Season 6[]
Following Cobra Kai's defeat, Mitch eventually rejoined Miyagi-Fang despite their reluctance due to his betrayal. When he shows up for training, he says that he apologized for betraying them a billion times and promises there will be no more heel turns from him. He then proves his point when he unzips his coat and shows he’s wearing a shirt with a logo of half Eagle Fang and half Miyagi-Do. Seeing the shirt, Chris realizes Mitch is being honest and asks if he has an XL shirt which Mitch does and gives one to him and the two hug, restoring their friendship. Bert, Devon, and Nate also greets Mitch, reconciling with him. Later, Mitch and Chris checks out the college fair at West Valley High School.
Following the Sekai Taikai announcement and their reveal of selecting 6 fighters to compete, Mitch and his classmates continues to train in order to earn a spot. Before the tournament, Mike Barnes has the students undergo rigorous training processes. Mitch gets a new nickname "Muscles" by Mike much to his delight and he fully embraces it. While training at night, he puts laxatives in his water. He explains it to a questioned Anthony that he uses it to relive stress on diarrhea. After the first session, Mitch is one of the twelve students who moves on to the next round. Mitch ends up losing a spot after all of his flags were taken by his classmates. He then watches the tiebreaker race between Hawk, Demetri, Kenny, and Devon in the woods. Shortly, Mitch finds out that his laxatives was missing and wonders if anyone has seen it anywhere. It turns out his laxatives was somehow in Kenny's water as he has rush to the bathroom and he gets constipated due to Bert taking too long in the bathroom.
Back at the dojo, Devon asks about Kenny's whereabouts. Anthony states that he hasn't been seen since he got constipated in the woods with Mitch jokingly assuming that Kenny's cleaning up his pants. Later, Mitch watches the captain’s match between Miguel and Robby first and then Sam and Tory, which resulted with Robby’s victory and Sam earning the position after Tory leaves the team following her mother's death and Hawk, who originally lost his chance to earn a spot back in the forest, takes her spot. With training over, Mitch remains in the valley with several of his classmates while Johnny, Daniel, Robby, Sam, Miguel, Hawk, Demetri, and Devon heads to Barcelona to compete in the Sekai Taikai.
Months later, Mitch watches the Sekai Taikai finals in the All Valley Sports Arena. He gets nachos and meets up with Chris and the rest of the Miyagi-Do students. While everyone takes a moment of silence to honor the late Kwon Jae-Sung who died during a huge brawl back in Barcelona, Mitch eats his nachos too loud and Johnny tells him to stop before everyone sits down.
