Miyagi is a minor character in Beastars. He is a partner of Leano, although they were not married. He is also known as Legoshi's father. Miyagi is a 44-year old gray wolf. Miyagi is an actor.

Appearance

When being Legoshi's father, Miyagi is a gray wolf that bears some resemblance to Legoshi. Miyagi is known as a muscular, attractive and elegant wolf with sharper features, more angular eyes and a better posture than Legoshi.

Personality

Due to his lack of appearances in Beastars manga, not much is known about Miyagi. When Miyagi appears in an omake of Volume 15, the 701 Canines make a comment on how actors like him tend to sleep around him. Miyagi is shown very attractive and elegant.

History

Miyagi is a gray wolf who worked as an amateur model and who wanted to become an actor. Leano's reptilian traits began appearing, Leano was in a hurry to find a handsome gray wolf to sleep with for the sole purpose of giving birth to Legoshi. She finds Miyagi in a catalog of singles, and later they met and went to bed.

Revenge of the Love Failure Arc

Leano's spirit recounted her life choices to her son, Legoshi. She mentioned Miyagi while explaining that she had a one-night stand hoping for her partner's genes to overtake the Komodo dragon traits she carried. This was done in order to give Legoshi a chance at living a relatively normal life as she supposed, pure-blooded gray wolf with some traits of Komodo dragon. She does not remember Miyagi's name (although Leano knows Miyagi and his name). Miyagi managed to become an actor, working on numerous films, despite only in small roles.

Trivia

• Miyagi was never married to Leano. Leano later states that she does not even remember his name (although Leano knows Miyagi and his name).
• In an omake of Volume 15, it is revealed that Miyagi succeeded in becoming an actor.
• The only people who know that Miyagi is Legoshi’s father are Leano and Legoshi.
