History[]
Background[]
Mo'at is the Tsahìk, or spiritual leader, of the Omatikaya clan. She was married to Eytukan and had two daughters with him: Sylwanin and Neytiri. She developed a friendship of sorts with Grace Augustine. Mo'at even convinced Eytukan to open Grace's school for the Na'vi children. When the children were infected with an illness due to contact with water contaminated by the RDA, Mo'at and Grace were able to find a cute to save all the ill people.
In 2152, Mo'at's eldest daughter, Sylwanin, was killed by the RDA, which led to the closing of Grace's school and the relationship between the humans and the Na'vi.

Personality[]
Mo'at was strongly connected to the goddess Eywa due to her role as the Tsahik of the Omatikaya Clan. She tries keeping the peace between the people who live amongst her clan. She also does not quite understand her daughter's resistance when it comes to change.
Eytukan and Mo'at felt betrayed that Jake Sully was spying on them for the RDA. However, Mo'at was dedicated to the safety of her clan and her family. She willingly put aside her differences with Jake and Grace by freeing them from their bindings. She begged Jake to save her and her people when the RDA destroyed the Hometree.
Mo'at initially disapproved of Jake and Neytiri's relationship, but overtime, grew to accept it.
