Moe the Mummy (Muminho in original) is the character of Bug-a-Booo, comic series based on Monica's Gang franchise.
Features and traits[]
Mummy, with ragged clothes and Egyptian descent. One inconsistency about Moe is that, in certain stories, when he loses the bandages on his body, he becomes invisible, showing himself to be a type of ghost, as if the cotton bands weren't covering anything. In other cases, when he discards the cloths, he appears as a dry, scorched corpse, similar to a solid, rotting body.
The premise of Moe the Mummy was driven by its former exuberant lifestyle - as it had a great fortune from its dynasty and a past full of privileges -, to the shock of the current reality in which it finds itself: without a penny or monarchic dowry that sustain him in an average cemetery, leaving only the fame of what once was. Faced with this, his personality differed from his "simple" colleagues as he never forgot his glory days, escaping traces of a mistaken superiority that he always tries to hide, mainly because he is very demanding, wanting things his way or drawing attention.
Biography[]
Previously, Moe the Mummy was an ancient pharaoh king of Egypt (despite having a childlike appearance – such as his small size, youthful features and childlike manner – he is a grown man), and was also a barber and scribe, ended up being mummified for a long time at the time of the ten Christian plagues, dying in the last one and being taken away from it for the better by Lady MacDeath herself; becoming the oldest inhabitant of the cemetery. Occasionally, Moe returns to remember the good times when he was alive and dictated the rules as an influential "leader", regretting the fact that he had kicked the bucket in one of the best phases of his empire.
With the passage of time, living in Lemon Tree Street, he lost the Egyptian privileges he had before, becoming a paltry mummy of plaster that only has the title of sovereign, but does not assume any position of order or requirement of royalty. Every now and then he forgets this detail and shows facets of his teasing personality.
