Charles "Chuck" Golden, better known as Mokap, is a minor character from the Mortal Kombat series of fighting games. Mokap is described as being a motion capture actor with a vast knowledge of martial arts and fighting styles. Although his initial storyline is somewhat removed from the main story, he is indeed treated as a legitimate character in the canon plot. Mokap has been involved with the events of the latest games, although the circumstances as to how and why are very mysterious and also vague. He seems to continually find himself inexplicably transported to and wrapped up in the battles that have transpired, simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He was modeled and voiced by Carlos Pesina.

History[]

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance[]

Mokap appears as a secret character in this game. He is a former martial arts teacher from the North of Chicago who was hired to do stunt work on Johnny Cage's movie Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, bein flown into Hollywood. Somehow, Mokap ended up being caught up in the Deadly Alliance's plot, although he did not influence events in any notable way.

Mortal Kombat: Deception[]

Mokap appears in the Konquest Mode, where Shujinko encounters him in Chaosrealm. Mokap admits he has no idea how he ended up here, having been transported from Chicago.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon[]

Mokap found himself involved in the Battle of Armageddon in Edenia, on the side of the Forces of Light. In his ending, he was able to destroy Blaze, and was ripped apart, becoming a constellation, and was remembered as a hero who saved Edenia. In the canon version of events, however, he was killed, along with all the others.
